In the camp, the campfire crackled, the aroma of sandworm meat lingering in the air,
Lis paused, looked down slightly at the brass ring he had been wearing on his hand, then handed the tool he was using to grill sandworm meat to Duke.
"I'll teach you some techniques during this time, how much you can learn depends on you."
"I understand!"
Duke took the rack from Lis's hand, nodding excitedly.
Then, after Lis nodded to Blair, he leaned back against his camel.
The camel wasn't affected at all by the battle earlier, leisurely looking around and even snatching a piece of sandworm meat from Lis.
Seeing Lis close his eyes, Blair and Duke didn't say any more to avoid disturbing him.
Blair got up and continued to handle affairs in the merchant caravan.
Although, with Lis's help, no one in the caravan died from the sandworm attack, a few unlucky fellows got injured, and some of the goods damaged by the sandworms needed his decision.
