He also brought some materials concerning Xing Hui. There wasn't much of interest. I suppose they wouldn't readily share valuable or important information with a human Heavenly Master.

He and Huai Xu arrived at the old neighborhood, just in time to see Lao Hui snatching cat food from a stray. Meanwhile, Xiao Yuan sat on a branch above Lao Hui's head, his prim demeanor and endearingly round physique.
Xiao Yuan was the first to spot them and greeted them sweetly, "Happy New Year, Zhou Li and Lord Huai Xu."
"Happy New Year, Xiao Yuan, and Lao Hui too."
"Hmm?"
Lao Hui turned to look at them, a piece of cat food still clutched in his paw, held awkwardly between his pads. Snatching food from small animals really wasn't something to be proud of.
