In a dark forest, Dao Shuzun appeared out of thin air, his face extremely grim. He sat cross-legged on the ground and began cultivating energy to heal his wounds.
His whole body trembled. As he started cultivating, wisps of aura seeped from his seven orifices, as if his entire being was deflating, but his body did not wither away.

Dao Shuzun opened his eyes, lowered his hands, and his tightly furrowed brow slightly relaxed.
"What a domineering power of cause and effect. Resisting it only makes it more violent. Ignoring it, however, is much easier..."
Dao Shuzun muttered to himself, his face very grim, thinking he would be tormented by this power of cause and effect for a long time.
