One by one, the Masters made excuses to return for the New Year's celebration, fleeing faster than each other.
And with the Masters gone, many problems began to arise in various places.
But what did that have to do with them, anyway? Even if chaos ensued, it was overseas – that was entertainment enough for the domestic onlookers.
Zhao Guang hadn't anticipated that many of these people had originally been sent abroad through his own company – arranged by his elder sister, no less. So now, they were all back.
His sister was the first to arrive at a special place with her entourage, and upon seeing Zhao Guang, she patted his shoulder.
"You've worked hard, but your efforts will be rewarded," she said.
Zhao Guang rolled his eyes. Those were hardly the words of his big sister. "It's fine, it's all for the people, right?"
His sullen tone elicited a burst of cheerful laughter from Zhao Yan. Only a real sister could laugh at that – had it been anyone else, would they find it amusing?
