After sending Michael to Ryan, Zenith took a deep breath. Giving a second thought to everything, she no longer thinks that the presence of Michael would be that bad. Instead, it will make things easier and adjustable for her.
After all, he would, in a way, limit her close involvement with Ryan, and that would save her from overthinking certain things.
"Zenith, look at the brighter side. Don't overlook your incapability," she chided herself, returning to take her seat behind her desk. Although she didn't want to accept that it was her fault last night, she couldn't ignore the fact that it was because of her that the company had to incur the losses.
Her phone rang in her bag, snapping her out of her thoughts, and she quickly reached for it to fish it out. When she took a look at the phone screen, she realized it was her mother's call.
