Emily turned to look and paused. This wasn't her first time seeing Aiden, but there was something about his looks that charmed her all over again. She couldn't bring herself to look away.
Aiden's gaze, however, never left Arwen. He walked to her, taking long strides as though he couldn't bear to stay apart from her for another second.
"What are you doing here?" Arwen asked when he came and stood in front of her, looking her from head to toe as though making sure she was alright. "Weren't you supposed to be at the company?"
"I was always supposed to be with you," he said before gently pushing her back to sit comfortably on the couch. "And may I ask why you have been standing when you could actually sit?"
