Chapter 879 - Chapter 878: Aventurine Gets Poked in the Butt (Part 1)

Firefly knew about Pei Guang's obsession with mechas: she would never forget how happy he looked when she gave him the transformation device with Sam's parameters.

But seeing Pei Guang hugging Sam so happily, she felt a sense of grievance.

It seemed there was no need to set the seas ablaze in the future: she should just set Sam on fire first.

And so, the happy expression on Firefly's face disappeared. At this moment, Pei Guang's and Firefly's expressions formed a sharp contrast.

While this contrast was happening here, on the other side, Aventurine's face was already devoid of any expression. Watching these people showing off their feelings, Aventurine clenched his fists tight.

He wasn't jealous or envious of the relationship between Pei Guang and the beautiful girls, and as for mechas like Sam, he had plenty of them.

But that didn't stop him from wanting to kill Pei Guang right now.

Was this how you were supposed to fight? Sending people up one by one was bad enough, but were they using him as a tool to farm affection points?!

While Aventurine was questioning his life choices, Firefly, Stelle, and March 7th all felt that the situation wasn't right.

If this went on, the three of them would be defeated by a mecha. That would be too embarrassing to speak of.

Thinking of this, the three of them spoke up one after another, their hearts in sync.

Stelle: "No good, this guy is too strong. Ah Guang, let's attack together."

March 7th also nodded: "That's right. Without you, we can't figure out how to defeat this enemy."

Firefly also came down from Pei Guang's embrace, but seeing the disappointed look in Pei Guang's eyes, Firefly took a deep breath and extended an invitation to him.

"Come on! Let our minds become one, let us combine into one, and defeat this powerful enemy together."

Firefly still remembered their previous combined battle. Since Pei Guang liked Sam so much, she would let Pei Guang ride on Sam and fight together with her. As for the arms, she would leave them to Stelle and March 7th.

Hearing these words, Pei Guang's eyes, originally filled with regret, suddenly lit up.

However, Pei Guang did not follow Firefly's plan: "Okay! Let's combine and defeat the powerful enemy, but..."

The scene that followed made Aventurine stumble back a few steps because he saw with his own eyes that Pei Guang sat his butt down on the ground.

Firefly deactivated her Sam transformation and sat on Pei Guang's right arm. Although the surface area of the arm was small, it still counted as a solid surface.

Stelle skillfully sat on Firefly's arm. It was as if Stelle's butt had a magnet in it: once she sat on Firefly's right arm, she stuck to it. Moreover, Stelle, sitting on Firefly's right arm, began to try moving.

Just like in the previous battle, it didn't affect her speed at all, and she could move at three times the speed.

This was the passive effect of the Non-Movable Sports Shoes aura: as long as allies within range didn't use their four limbs to move, they could move steadily on any solid surface.

And the arm was judged to be a solid surface. As long as she sat on it, no matter how Pei Guang moved, it wouldn't affect Stelle's actions.

March 7th figured it out without being taught and silently sat on Pei Guang's left arm.

She originally thought she wouldn't be able to sit there, but when she did, she found that Pei Guang's arm was just like the ground: as long as she sat on it, she was stable.

The temporary human armor, with Firefly forming the right arm, Stelle forming the right-hand weapon, and March 7th forming the turret, was complete.

This four-in-one human armor not only silenced Aventurine, but even Acheron, who was eating a peach, dropped her peach to the ground.

What was she seeing? Four people stuck together to fight?

Leaving aside whether this four-in-one combination could actually fight, movement itself would be a problem, wouldn't it?

This thought appeared in the minds of both Aventurine and Acheron.

As for Himeko? She had already calmly pulled out a stool and was ready to watch the show.

Himeko wasn't bragging, but even Akivili back in the day hadn't seen a scene like this. If she hadn't seen these two kids going crazy inside the train before coming to Penacony, even Himeko would have been scared by this sight.

Never mind Akivili: Aha would say that He had only seen this in Penacony within the last two days.

If one were to ask if this stuck-together fighting style would affect combat effectiveness? Under normal circumstances, the answer would be "yes."

But here's the thing: this is the Dreamscape, and Pei Guang has a special item aura.

As long as allies within range don't use their limbs to move on a solid surface, it's like walking on flat ground.

And this acceleration aura is a special aura that ignores any acceleration effects and calculates speed based on three times one's own speed. Thus, a scalp-numbing scene occurred.

On Pei Guang's right arm, Firefly began to move around his arm at triple speed. This feeling of walking on flat ground made Firefly close her eyes involuntarily.

Stelle, meanwhile, began spinning at triple speed on Firefly's right arm. While spinning, she pulled out her baseball bat and the War-Flaming Lance.

Although this triple speed only increased movement speed, in a certain sense, increasing movement speed could also count as increasing attack speed.

Stelle didn't swing the bat at all: instead, she held the bat upright and spun at high speed. Firefly acted as the swinging arm, swinging the bat for Stelle.

Under high-speed rotation, the lance had turned into a drill. Looking at the rotating lance emitting an amber glow, and then at the baseball bat constantly spinning with a blue light...

Aventurine felt his brain suffering a shock, but this was only the beginning.

Watching Stelle and Firefly already spinning, Pei Guang silently pulled out four special effect headgears. That's right, the same old Albinauric headgear masks.

This headgear had the effect of slightly increasing mental power and decreasing the enemy's mental power.

When all four of them put it on, Aventurine felt a sharp pain in his head, as if something was swelling inside his brain.

He swore that if there was another chance in the future, he would definitely team up with Pei Guang instead of becoming his enemy.

The pain, it was just too painful!

Whether he could win or not was one thing, but this mental attack before the fight even started was simply torture.

As the saying goes, smiles don't disappear, they just transfer.

While Aventurine was wearing a mask of pain, Acheron was already calmly sitting on the chair provided by Himeko, drinking the coffee Himeko gave her, and eating a peach while watching the scene unfold.

For so many years, this was the first time she felt her mind was so empty and her body and mind so delighted. Since she wasn't the one being tortured, it looked comforting no matter how she looked at it.

The preparation phase, which looked long, actually only took a few seconds for Pei Guang and the others.

Within a few seconds, the four of them tacitly completed the combination and charged towards Aventurine.

Facing the charge of such a lump of stuff, Aventurine decisively launched an attack.

This time, he was serious.

"The dice have been cast. Come! Bust? Or maybe I'll take it all!"

Aventurine threw out four dice that were several circles larger than a human head. The four dice fell from the sky, smashing towards Pei Guang who was rushing over.
