Chapter 953 - Chapter 951: First Step of the Strategy: Impregnate the Aeon of Propagation! (Part 1)

The moment the spear tip poked the Shadow of the Aeon of Propagation's ass, the originally War-Flaming Lance tip was dyed green.

As the tip turned green, the original amber radiance turned into a ball of light that hovered and circled around the flaming lance.

Looking at this touch of green, Stelle shouted excitedly: "Everyone! Look quickly, I dyed the spear tip green."

Pei Guang: "Let me see! Holy crap, your equipment got even more awesome!"

Pei Guang looked at the War-Flaming Lance in Stelle's hand, his expression of envy almost overflowing.

[War-Flaming Lance - Propagation: Poking an enemy in the Propagation state causes the enemy to become pregnant for one minute. During pregnancy, movement speed is reduced by 30%, and consumption is increased by 30%. If the pregnancy reaches three full minutes, a random life form will be born. The random life form inherits one-tenth of the mother's attributes and can only exist for ten minutes.]

Looking at this affix, marvelous ideas instantly sprang up in Pei Guang's mind.

He really wanted Stelle to use this War-Flaming Lance to stab the Aeon of Propagation's ass and make the Him, and then he would use Holy Light to accelerate the pregnancy speed.

Wouldn't that mean he could make the Aeon of Propagation give birth within ten minutes?

With this excitement, Pei Guang hugged Stelle tightly and spun around: "That's fantastic, you got your hands on something good."

At this moment, everyone was speechless at Pei Guang and Stelle.

The enemy appeared with such massive momentum, yet instead of watching vigilantly, these two ran over to poke its ass?

This newly born thing might be an Emanator of Propagation, or even the Aeon of Propagation reviving and in this situation, they still dare to provoke it?!

As for this thought, Pei Guang sneered at it.

Was this provocation? This was reasonably utilizing the cutscene CG.

Before, when watching CGs, one couldn't do anything, just waiting there for those few seconds or dozens of seconds.

But now, as a unit that can move freely, naturally one must do something during the CG.

Killing this big bug?

Pei Guang assessed the situation: judging by the trump cards currently in hand, killing it was possible, but it definitely wouldn't be an easy battle.

Since he couldn't kill it instantly anyway, why not use the CG period to help Stelle with her full collection run?

Pei Guang remembered Stelle's original goal, which was to poke the asses of all Aeons with the War-Flaming Lance.

Although the enemy in front was just a shadow and not the true Aeon of Propagation, it carried the "Aeon" affix after all.

Poking it, rounding up, was equivalent to poking the Aeon of Propagation!

Besides that, Pei Guang also needed to observe carefully.

The previous experience in the dream world was equivalent to gaining intelligence on the Bug King in advance. He needed to prove through some attempts during the CG phase that the experience gained in the dream was usable.

Although friendly units in the dreamscape could resurrect due to the policy, Pei Guang still remembered that Path powers between Aeons could influence each other.

Relying too much on this skill might lead to accidents; if they really lost members, it wouldn't be fun.

As the saying goes, as a player, one can be reckless, but one cannot court death.

Courting death really leads to death.

Pei Guang and Stelle were happy poking, but this newly born pseudo Bug King went mad.

What was its status? Rounding up, it was the Aeon of Propagation reappearing in the world. As a result, before birth, its offspring were cruelly killed, and after birth, its own ass was poked.

Even if an uncle could tolerate this, a bug could not.

Terrifying power erupted instantly, and Imaginary Energy from the Propagation Path instantly surrounded Pei Guang and Stelle.

Apart from this King Bug's Imaginary Energy, Pei Guang also noticed several differently colored True Stings around them that hadn't participated in the breeding process, also surrounding the two of them.

Originally, these True Stings had ignored Pei Guang's behavior because the power Pei Guang and Stelle displayed was too weak—so weak that their leg hair could kill these two.

But they never expected these two things could actually hurt their King?

The bugs couldn't stay calm anymore; they surrounded them immediately and prepared to launch attacks on the pair.

Pei Guang carefully observed the six elite-level bugs surrounding them. Looking at the yellow, purple, red, green, white, and black bugs, Pei Guang's brain analyzed rapidly.

"This purple one looks like the Starcrusher Swarm King encountered before, but the threat level feels a bit lower. Is this a Starcrusher Swarm King in its larval stage? Or growth stage?

"If what was bred is a Shadow of the Aeon of Propagation, then do these few count as crippled versions of Propagation Emanators? If that's the case..."

Pei Guang's mind recalled the memories regarding these Propagation Emanators from the dream world.

In the dream, he and his Zerg had analyzed the data and characteristics of various True Sting forms, including the Aeon of Propagation's main body, in detail.

If it were six complete forms gathered together, Pei Guang knew he definitely couldn't beat them. But if it was a crippled version...

Pei Guang was still observing.

Through their movement trajectories and attack methods, he confirmed that compared to the Propagation Emanators he encountered in the dream world, they were indeed crippled versions.

At this moment, based on the attributes of these bugs and some characteristics of the Aeon of Propagation, Pei Guang formulated a raid plan.

Compared to the hastily started team fight with the Dreammaster, he already had a concrete line of thought for this raid.

While Pei Guang was thinking, these bugs concentrated their power on Pei Guang and Stelle.

Feeling the terrifying power on the enemies, Pei Guang didn't hesitate at all and directly used Holy Light to make himself and Stelle respawn beside friendly forces.

Watching the two return, March 7th's tone became nervous: "You two idiots, are you crazy?"

Pei Guang calmly raised his finger and wagged it: "Crazy? Not at all. I just took Stelle to skip the boring CG and incidentally verify if the boss information I obtained is accurate. Looking at it now, the experience I gained before is still useful. We can experience a real raid battle now."

Pei Guang was very dissatisfied with the battle against the Dreammaster that ended in confusion. There was no plot kill, no exciting combat, and not even any loot drops.

But fortunately, that was just a warm-up battle before the boss fight.

Now that a real enemy was in front of them, naturally, they had to have a good time.

Hearing that a team fight was starting, the originally silent Welt walked over: "A team fight? I have some experience, for what it's worth."

Whether in real team fights or virtual ones, Welt indicated that his experience was extremely rich.

Of course, if Pei Guang wasn't here, he wouldn't say that.

He would be cautious, cautious, and cautious again, trying his best to ensure no accidents occurred.

But since Pei Guang, a player with maximum purity, was here, and even the world could adjust for the sake of the player's gameplay, then this old gentleman wouldn't stand on ceremony.

Pei Guang: "No problem. This time my plan is for us to split into four teams..."

Pei Guang was preparing to assign teams based on his original experience, but the actions of the Aeon of Propagation's shadow in the direction of the Grand Theater made Pei Guang's expression solemn.

Under the influence of his policy, the True Stings could no longer breed. Because the shadow of the Aeon of Propagation wasn't the Aeon Itself, it was also affected by this policy and couldn't breed.

But! It found another way and discovered a bug in the second policy.

The policy prohibited all breeding behavior: since its fission also counted as breeding behavior, fission was banned too.

However, a not-so-bright part of this revived Bug King's brain had a flash of inspiration. It detached a part of its own body, and then let this part grow from scratch into an independent individual.

Simply put, a new unit just like it regenerated.

As for why fission wasn't allowed but regeneration was? Because for True Stings, fission was more efficient than simple regeneration. Even if hacked to pieces, the eggs inside the belly continuing to breed was more efficient than limb regeneration.

Bugs didn't have that many thoughts; they used whatever was efficient.

But now Pei Guang banned breeding behavior, which forced them to find a new way to breed, hence this new method.

And Pei Guang's code banned the previous forms of breeding. This regeneration was a new method created by this shadow of the Aeon of Propagation.

As long as Pei Guang didn't patch it, this effect would remain valid.

The downside? Also very obvious.

Because this was a new breeding method, the old bugs didn't have this function, but only its newly generated units possessed this ability.

Then came the awkward part.

Due to insufficient energy, although these new units were created, they couldn't continue to rapidly increase the population through regeneration.

Unlike normal breeding, lives born through this regeneration method were much weaker. There had to be sufficient energy to give them enough strength.

Unlike the true Aeon of Propagation of the past, the shadow of the Aeon of Propagation, having absorbed part of Order's power, was furious after facing Pei Guang's sneak attack, but anger did not blind its will to breed.

As a transformation of the Aeon of Propagation's limb, it knew the reason for the Aeon of Propagation's failure, which made it persist even more firmly on the Path of Propagation.

Restrictions from Penacony? It didn't matter.

As a shadow, it didn't have as much will as the main body; it only knew one thing, and that was to breed! Breed with all its might.

Although it wasn't as awesome as the feedback from the previous swarm network, at least it wasn't unable to give birth.

In the past, to survive, it abandoned the Path of Propagation; now, Propagation was its life!

Being sneak-attacked, being debuffed—it didn't matter. No one could stop it from breeding, breeding, breeding.

Although it didn't have enough brains, as long as the ideology didn't slide, there were always more solutions than difficulties.
