Brendon didn't stay for a long time. He left once they finished eating dinner, after advising Sienna to take care of her health and not ignore her rest.
Sienna nodded at everything he said. The man was her elder, and he only had her well-being in mind. She endured his nagging, not at all finding it bothersome. Instead, she only looked at the hidden concern in it.
"Don't look at me like that," Brendon said, pushing his coat behind him. "I'll feel as if I'm bullying you."
"I never said that," Sienna shot back, blinking at him innocently.
"Hmph, don't come crying to me if you fall sick again. I'm going to leave now. Take care."
Sienna knew that the man was joking and smiled simply. She waited until the man was gone before addressing the elephant in the room.
