Sllaasshh!!
Ctaanngg!!
As I slashed at Sia's head while she still in her holy dragon form, I could feel my grip falter as the cursed Odachi sheath hit her head.
That slash—I mean, that little pinch on her cheek—was a bad and rash decision. It's not that it wasn't worth trying, but the result was obvious.
Dragon scales are known for being tough and are their primary defense against attacks. I mean, regular dragon scales are already notoriously tough to pierce. Even with the Goddess of Destruction's blessing enveloping the cursed Odachi's sheath, Sia's dragon scales were so tough they deflected a slash—I mean, a small pinch to her cheek.
"Uwwaaahh... those are really hard dragon scales."
"Can I say that Sia is big head—I mean, a stubborn Saintess... literally?"
When my slashing attack failed, I heard Momo's voice joking about this.
