"So this is the Five-Tails..."
Tsunade looked up at the giant white beast, a shocked expression on her face. Seeing it in broad daylight was a different feeling than seeing it at night.
Tōshirō, in his Five-Tails form, lowered his head and spoke, "Tsunade, come up to my head. I'll be your ride and take you for a spin."
Tsunade was briefly stunned, then a smile appeared on her face. She leaped up onto his head.
"Hold on tight..."
Tōshirō said, slowly raising his head, moving his limbs, and starting to run.
Putting aside last night, this was officially his first complete Tailed Beast transformation today.
He had thought that running on four legs for the first time would be uncoordinated, but in practice, it was surprisingly easy.
The Five-Tails' immense size made it conspicuous even in the Forest of Death, far from Konoha Village. It was immediately noticed by the village's ninja.
"This is the Five-Tails..."
Some ninja's eyes widened in shock.
Another companion asked in surprise, "Did the Tailed Beast inside Tōshirō go berserk?"
"I don't know, quickly inform Lord Danzo. I'll try to stop the Five-Tails first; we absolutely cannot let it get close to the village center."
This ninja was determined to die, but when he arrived, he was dumbfounded.
"Don't be nervous, the Tailed Beast inside me hasn't gone berserk."
The Five-Tails spoke in human language, then transformed back into human form.
Tōshirō muttered to himself, it seemed the maximum duration for his first transformation was around 5 minutes; beyond that, it wouldn't work.
"Tōshirō, what was that..."
Just as Tōshirō was about to respond, he sensed something and looked up. Before long, a large group of Konoha ninja rushed towards him, including many Jonin and even Danzo, the temporary Hokage. The level of concern was evident.
Tsunade glanced sideways and said lightly, "You really caused quite a commotion."
Tōshirō shrugged, helplessly, "There's no helping it, the Tailed Beast's size is just too conspicuous."
If he could, Tōshirō wouldn't want to be so noticeable.
Although the Five-Tails had already acknowledged him, perfectly mastering the Tailed Beast's power within him was another matter entirely.
To adapt to the Five-Tails' power as quickly as possible, transforming directly into the Five-Tails to train was the fastest method.
He didn't know when Madara Uchiha would come knocking, and during this time, he had to get stronger as quickly as possible.
"Tōshirō, what was going on with you just now?" Danzo, as the leader, squinted his eyes and asked.
Tōshirō said casually, "Nothing much, just getting used to the Five-Tails' power."
After speaking, he scanned the crowd, "You're all making too much of a fuss. With my Sharingan, do you really think the Tailed Beast inside me would go berserk?"
After their initial shock, the crowd dispersed.
Since the Tailed Beast inside Tōshirō hadn't gone berserk, there was no need for them to stay there. They could go about their business.
Moreover, it was a good thing that Tōshirō could better control the Tailed Beast's power. Their presence would only disturb his training.
Before leaving, Danzo's gaze fell on Tōshirō, his murky eyes filled with deep apprehension.
After this small interlude, Tōshirō continued to train his Tailed Beast power. During this time, he discovered a very frustrating fact.
In his complete Tailed Beast form, he couldn't use any jutsu other than Boil Release.
At first, he thought it was due to his own proficiency, but later the Five-Tails told him that Tailed Beast transformation was essentially summoning the Tailed Beast within to fight, so naturally, he couldn't use abilities other than the Tailed Beast's.
Damn it...
Tōshirō was depressed.
He clearly remembered that Naruto could use various ninjutsu in his Tailed Beast form.
Not only that, even his Tailed Beast Cloak state was different from other ordinary Tailed Beasts.
There was even the Baryon Mode that could contend with Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Was there a bit too much preferential treatment?
He now understood why other Jinchuriki generally didn't practice other jutsu besides their Tailed Beast's abilities – it was because they couldn't use them.
For ordinary ninja, it wasn't a big deal, but for Tōshirō, it was a huge problem.
Tōshirō voiced his confusion and complaints to the Five-Tails in a sarcastic manner.
The Five-Tails was surprised that Tōshirō even knew about this.
But then, upon reflection, it wasn't surprising given that Tōshirō had apparently been to the future.
Tōshirō joked, "Hey, I say, Little Five, we're both Tailed Beasts, but why do I feel like you're the stepchild?"
Hearing this tone, the Five-Tails felt offended and snorted, "You might as well be clearer."
Tōshirō laughed, "Little Five, don't blame me for saying it badly, but from a factual performance perspective, the gap between you other Tailed Beasts and the Nine-Tails isn't just big, it's enormous.
"It makes me feel like when the Sage of Six Paths divided the Ten-Tails' chakra back then, the method wasn't to divide it into nine parts, but rather one part for the One-Tail, one part for the Nine-Tails, one part for the Two-Tails, one part for the Nine-Tails, one part for the Three-Tails, one part for the Nine-Tails... and so on."
Although there was a teasing element in this statement, the Five-Tails fell silent and felt depressed after hearing it.
It didn't want to admit it, but it was true.
To say that the Five-Tails didn't care about this at all was impossible.
After all, they were all divided from the same person, and from the same creature, so why was the difference so great?
The Five-Tails retorted angrily, "You ask me, who am I supposed to ask?"
Tōshirō was left speechless and pondered for a moment.
He had a wild guess.
The earlier statement about one part for the One-Tail, one part for the Nine-Tails, etc., was more of a jest. Tōshirō felt that with the Sage of Six Paths' ability, it was impossible for such a huge mistake to exist.
The Nine-Tails' specialness was probably intentionally done by the Sage of Six Paths.
In the original story, the Sage of Six Paths once said he entrusted everything to Ashura, fearing that Ashura wouldn't be able to defeat Indra.
The way Ashura could contend with Indra's Susanoo was through the Nine-Tails.
Clearly, besides the power separated from the Ten-Tails, the Nine-Tails likely also had power specifically left for it by the Sage of Six Paths for Ashura to use against Indra's Susanoo, otherwise, the reason for the Nine-Tails' immense power wouldn't make sense.
Tōshirō, having figured this out, sighed.
Complete Tailed Beast transformation had too obvious advantages and disadvantages.
Tōshirō no longer insisted on using other abilities in his complete Tailed Beast form.
Instead, he focused more on his semi-Tailed Beast form.
Half a Month Later
As Tōshirō fully utilized the Tailed Beast's power on the battlefield, the effect was outstanding.
This caused Tōshirō's already prominent reputation to become even more so, completely establishing his name throughout the ninja world. People gradually began to call him a God's Incarnation.
This was a title no less prestigious than Hanzo the Salamander's Half-God.
In the military camp, a low-ranking soldier rushed in in a panic to report, "Bad news! Konoha has sent reinforcements!"
Upon hearing this, the Sand Village commander didn't even twitch an eyebrow. He remained calm in his chair. "Calm down, it's just reinforcements. Why are you so anxious?"
It was a common occurrence for enemy reinforcements to appear in the middle of a battle.
Are you kidding? Do you think only Konoha has reinforcements?
Their own reinforcements would be arriving soon.
"But the person who came is Uchiha Tōshirō, who is known as the God's Incarnation."
The Sand Village commander stood up without a word.
His subordinate was momentarily stunned, "Sir, what are you doing?"
"Why are you still standing there like an idiot? Hurry up and run!"
The Sand Village commander's face was filled with terror.
Are you kidding? Uchiha Tōshirō was now a walking weapon of mass destruction.
With one Tailed Beast Bomb, no matter how many reinforcements came, it wouldn't be enough to withstand his bombardment.
Why was Hanzo called a Half-God? Besides his immense strength, it was also because his abilities were area-of-effect. Against him, no matter how many people came, it was useless.
Similarly, Tōshirō was almost the same now. With one Tailed Beast Bomb, multiple people would just be sending themselves to their deaths.
The difference was that one was chronic, the other was instant kill.
If they were unlucky enough to encounter him, unless there were specific orders from above, they could choose to flee directly without worrying about punishment.
"Oh, they ran away..."
Looking at the enemy camp, where even the tents hadn't been packed up, Tōshirō shook his head.
His companion flattered him, "It's because you're too strong..."
"Sigh, the only downside to doing missions with you, Tōshirō, is that as soon as the enemies hear your name, they get scared and abandon everything. It makes me feel like I have no presence."
"Exactly, exactly..."
"Haha..."
After winning the battle, the atmosphere on Konoha's side was excellent. They even had time to joke around and laugh loudly.
Tōshirō smiled, "You guys check if there's anything worth collecting."
"Yes."
The mission ended, and on the way back, passing through a small town, Tōshirō suddenly saw a familiar figure in the vast crowd. The person was hooded, their face unclear, only revealing a pair of strange eyes—emerald green with red irises.
He is...
"Captain Tōshirō, what's wrong?"
A subordinate beside him, seeing Tōshirō suddenly stop, couldn't help but ask curiously.
Tōshirō regained his composure, an embarrassed expression on his face. "Sorry, I suddenly have to pee really bad..."
"Honestly, you're always such a hassle..."
Tsunade rolled her eyes and waved her hand, "Go quickly and come back."
Tōshirō used a "pee-遁" (pee escape) to arrive at a secluded corner, not to actually use the restroom, but to wait for someone.
Suddenly, Tōshirō sensed something, looked to the side, and revealed a confident smile, "Come out..."
As soon as he finished speaking, a grim-faced man with a covered face emerged from the shadows. He spoke in a low voice, "Yes."
Tōshirō called out his name, "Long time no see, Brother Kakuzu."
"Uh, you've really made a name for yourself now, kid."
"So, are you here to kill me?" Tōshirō joked, "After all, my bounty must be worth a lot now, right?"
"Hmph."
Tōshirō's expression became serious, "Do you need something from me?"
He understood Kakuzu well enough to know that with his personality, it wouldn't be as simple as just reminiscing.
Kakuzu got straight to the point, "I do need something from you."
Tōshirō smiled, "Oh, what is it?"
"Help me with a favor."
Tōshirō's lips curved into a smile, "Interesting. Tell me, what kind of favor requires my help?"
Kakuzu said in a deep voice, "Help me kill someone."
