It's been two weeks since the incident of the wife selection, and the assassination. It was clearly all directed to me but I managed to survive. A lot of lives has been wasted and taken away to take away my life.
I don't know if I should be glad about it, but I must thank Eryx for protecting me.
"You're quiet, mi lady. What are you thinking?" Eleanor asked while busy fixing my hair.
"Nothing, Eleanor. " I replied. She smiled while looking at the mirror infront of me. She placed a beautiful pair of earrings on me, it is silver with red ruby. "On the other hand, you seem happy. Why are you dressing me like this?"
"His Higness told me that he will visit you today, you do want to be beautiful when you face him, mi lady."
"H-huh? W-why would I want to be beautiful in his eyes? " I denied. Eleanor just laugh on me.
