Rita and Calico spent a long time experimenting on the River of Time, testing the connection pattern between BS and Cat's Ideal.
The conclusion was simple. There was no need for lightning chains or Player Relic links. When Before the Sigh Sounds Set Sail was active, BS would automatically follow the BS Adjudicator.
As long as she was on the ship, BS would drift behind it.
Even if Cat's Ideal changed position using the movement skill Absolute Freedom, BS would follow along.
Rita then tried briefly returning to BS. For safety, she called Nivalis back to the ship as well, in case Tail Tip was needed to reverse time.
She did not dare stay long. After only one minute in BS, she returned to the ship and asked Calico and Nivalis, "Did you notice anything unusual just now?"
Calico replied, "BS could not move anymore. The ship could not drag it."
