"LEFT!" Ali shouted, and Abeloth swung to the right, avoiding a massive pillar of lightning at the last moment. Dozens of similar lightning bolts struck down from the black clouds that now blocked the sunlight as lightning crackled through them.
Eldora was having a much easier time dodging the lightning strikes as the winds boosted her speed, making her incredibly hard to hit.
Ali, from Abeloth's back, looked down and saw the massive wolf howling outside its cavern, its horns glowing blue with lightning and sparks flying off them. The sharp rocks at the edge of the mountain, where the massive cave was carved out, were discharging an intense amount of electricity.
Ali snapped his fingers, and the black spear appeared in his right hand. He jumped from Abeloth's back and started flying down through the strong winds caused by Eldora.
He dodged lightning bolts with the help of his Force Sense before stopping himself a hundred meters above the wolf, which stopped casting lightning bolts. Instead, a small ball of lightning started forming between its horns.
Ali's black aura surged from his right arm and entered the spear, which was already full of his aura. "Let's see what you can do in my hands," Ali said, throwing the spear straight down at the wolf.
The spear broke the sound barrier, and air shockwaves popped along its path as the spear split into fifty black spears that left a trail of black aura behind them and plummeted straight at the wolf and the surrounding area.
The twin-horned lightning wolf was close to blasting its condensed lightning mana at Ali before a massive black portal opened next to it, and Shadow's massive maw opened up to bite the Wolf King's back.
BITE
It was horrible and gruesome. Shadow's thick black scales tore open, and electricity surged through the dragon's whole body just from coming close to the Beast King, whose mana was so strong that an armor of lightning hit Shadow right away.
But…
The monstrous dragon didn't care for the pain or damage — as long as it could move, it would follow Ali's command. Its rows of sharp fangs stabbed into the wolf's thick fur and dug as deep as they could as the ridiculous bite force of a spawn of Bahamut crushed the Wolf King's back completely.
WOOOOOOOOOOO
The Wolf King felt horrible pain and whimpered as it turned its head, trying to bite away Shadow, who'd crushed its spine and was now trying to split it in half.
BZZZZZZZZ BOOOOM BZZZZ
The lightning ball flew at the ground, releasing a massive blast that struck the mountain and carved a deep twenty-meter-wide hole into its solid rock.
PSST PSSST STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE STAB STAB
WOOOOOOOO
The spears tore into the Beast King, decimating its body as Ali's aura helped the spear pieces pierce right through before the main spear landed between the Beast King's horns and stabbed straight through its brain, killing it before nailing its head into the ground.
The magnificent Beast King's body fell limp to the ground, with only Shadow biting through bone and neck, pulling back hard to cut out the massive thick fur and heavy muscles from the corpse to eat.
Ali landed next to the wolf, with his two dragons landing behind him.
Eldora and Abeloth tried getting closer to the Beast King's corpse, but Shadow growled so deep his voice rumbled through the forest — and especially through the cavern behind them, where the wolf pack cowered and hid.
The Dragons of Fire and Wind looked at Shadow and felt real fear from the dragon-like monster.
"This spawn of darkness dares…!" Abeloth roared, and fire surged from his throat, ready to burn Shadow.
Shadow's violet eyes darted from the corpse he was trying to drag away to Abeloth. His scales were already regenerating from the damage taken by biting the Wolf King.
BOOM BOOM
Two massive fangs exploded from the ground under Abeloth, ready to stab straight through his underbelly and skewer him.
"Stop," Ali said casually, picking up his spear from the ground — and they all froze.
"You two, he played the biggest role in the kill, so he gets the Beast King. Go eat the pack quickly before we set off," Ali ordered, and Abeloth calmed down, lowering his head and opening his maw at the opening of the cave, where he released a column of deadly hot fire, burning the entire pack.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOV
Abeloth didn't stop until the last squeal was heard. He'd used a weak fire — enough to kill the wolves but not melt them or the cave with them. Then Eldora spread her wings, and winds pulled out more than fifty scorched wolves from inside.
The two dragons easily ate five to seven wolves per bite. It didn't take them long to eat up the whole wolf pack, while Shadow's razor-sharp rows of fangs cut the last part of the Beast King and finally swallowed the whole corpse.
Ali, meanwhile, looked at the twin horns he'd salvaged from the corpse along with the best parts of its hide that were on its nape. He sent both items to his inventory.

Ali's hair floated from the sudden surge in Spirit. His Spirit pond expanded from the massive increase in Spirit, which had thickened now into a very viscous black liquid.
Ali, in his Spirit Realm, saw the same Beast King he'd just killed looking at him through the fog — its eyes shining bright blue, its horns producing explosive sparks of lightning. The Wolf King's body was made entirely of blue energy and electric sparks — true to its Spectre name.
Ali extended his hand, and the Spectre transformed into a blue lightning ball, which Ali connected with and immediately understood the spell cost.
'Two Spirit Points just for one use — you must be powerful. Now let's add you to the Star Path…' Ali thought as he reached for another part of the fog where a white fire burned brightly.
Now a ball of lightning and a ball of fire were in each of his hands as he walked up to his Star Path and saw his three small stars shining along the path. He had two openings left before the first Star Path was full, as the path only took five spells before advancing.
Ali added the two spells and felt their cost immediately halve — the Spectre from two to one Spirit, and the Barrier now only cost 1.5 from its original three Spirit. The Barrier was a very costly spell as it acted as both an improvement and a killing move with one cast from Ali.
Once the fifth spell was in, Ali saw the fog clear, and ten openings were now along the new path that led deep into the fog. But now, next to his first path, Ali saw an opening much smaller than regular openings for spells.
'The enchantment spell. Once a mage breaks through the first Star Path and advances, they are able to slot in an enchantment they can use without casting — such as Speed Boost, Strength Boost, Attack Boost, or whatever it is. Mateo used one over and over again against me…' Ali thought as he exited his Spirit Realm.
"Hey, Abeloth," Ali shouted up at the Fire Dragon, who looked down at him.
"Here's a piece of advice — creatures like Shadow here were created by Bahamut to kill from birth. Not fly, not control elements of nature — no. They were designed to kill and consume. Do not allow your ego to convince you that you can beat one. You wouldn't stand a chance," Ali said, and Abeloth dug his sharp talons into the ground before flying up into the air on his own.
Ali allowed the young dragon to rebel for his hurt ego.
"We do not have a chance against it, Master?" Eldora asked Ali in her refined tone. She never regarded Shadow as a dragon like her — he was a monstrous creation. No dragon of the Ancient Dragon Hall regarded them as one of their own.
"No. Shadow can regenerate and cross distances easily with teleportation. His teeth can tear through your scales, and he can now create massive fangs from your shadows. Retreating and flying away is the only choice," Ali answered, jumping up and landing on her back. Sitting on her scales was much more comfortable than Abeloth's.
"You know the way," Ali said, and Eldora launched herself up with her massive wings that were one with the winds.
Along the way, he asked her for the names of Wind Dragons she regarded as the best flyers. Eldora knew many lesser Wind Dragons and very few Broodscale Dragons, as they flew on stronger winds. Ali noted down the names in his mind.
