"Are you sure this is a smart plan?" Celia asked a bit doubtfully, flying to Gray's side as they rocketed across Monas towards the Tower.
"Nope." Gray answered bluntly, not even trying to save face, "Actually, it's pretty stupid, but have you ever heard of something being 'too big to fail'?"
That was the basis of Gray's plan - or, more accurately, his lack of plan. His group only had roughly a day to take down the threats on Monas and conquer the planet before they needed to return to Harro, ensure the Hero Association kept their end of the deal, and then go back to Planet Vegeta. As such, Gray decided that thinking up a long-drawn-out plan wasn't needed.
I'm in Dragon Ball. This is much more my style anyway.
In the spirit of the world Gray was in, he was going to do what he did best - fight. He'd charge into the Tower, and, along with Saitama, take on the Monster King and Boros.
When you're strong, you don't need a plan.
In this world, might makes right. And, right now? Gray was the very definition of might, and his teammate was an overpowered bald man.
We've had a month of training, I ate two fruits, learned the Kaio-Ken x10, and can transform into an ape. My teammate is the literal One-Punch man. If we lose a 2v2 here, then I'm a disappointment to every Legendary Super Saiyan that came before me, and I should hang up the towel anyway.
Gray had worked too hard to lose now, and with the overpowered Saitama launching through the air on his other side, doing what was more like a massive leap than flying, he wasn't going to waste any time.
I can sense him easily. The planet's a lot more barren.
As Gray and his squad blasted towards the tower, the once dense and populated planet of Monas, which had so many energy signatures that it was difficult to pinpoint one amongst the clusters, was now rather bare. Gray assumed it was from Saitama's battle with Orochi, Boros, Turles, and Garou here roughly a month prior, as the weaker monsters probably died just from being caught in the crossfire.
Speaking of Garou-
He'll be chill, right?
The 'Ultimate Monster' was also flying with Gray's squad, just looking a bit annoyed as he was separated from the group a bit. He was one of the few heroes who hadn't needed to be taught how to fly on King Kai's planet, as while utilizing your Ki to fly was pretty simple and easy, it seemed that only some martial artists on Harro actually figured out how to do it.
I would've thought the 'heroes' would at least know how to fly, but nah.
But, his knowing how to fly wasn't the concern - it was what the 'monster' would do when the battle broke out.
He didn't cause any problems on King Kai's planet, but he was itching to fight Saitama seriously again, and I could tell he wasn't giving our spars his all.
Gray wasn't certain if the man would just turncoat again when the fighting started again and target Saitama. If he did, then the fight would become a lot riskier, but Gray was still confident that the duo of him and Saitama would come out on top.
"We're getting close," Celia muttered to his side slightly warningly, glancing over at him, "I'll provide all the support I can, but…"
"Don't be risky," Gray replied with a nod, as was part of the very, very, shallow 'plan' they had, "I'll be fine. Prioritize your own life."
While Gray and Saitama planned to take on the big shots on Monas, his squad was there to provide support. But, while they had all grown a lot stronger, especially after most of them received a 10x or even stronger boost from eating the fruits, they weren't strong enough not to get one-shot by Boros.
I was a punching bag even in my Ozaru form, and most of them aren't anywhere near that.
Aside from Tatsumaki, Saitama, Garou, and Caulifla, none of Gray's group were even all that close to what his power level had been when he fought Boros, and as a result, would die if he turned his attention to them. As such, Gray had urged them all to stay back, provide long-range support, and run like hell if either the Monster King or Boros turned their attention to them. Celia in particular would be pretty useful in the fight, as their abrupt return to Monas meant that they didn't have time to waste waiting for the moon to perfectly align with where the Monster King and Boros were - and that was making the risky assumption that they were both still in the Tower to begin with - so Celia would have to create an artificial moon for them, even if the technique was pretty draining.
Gray quickly spotted the outside of the Tower again, noticing that there were more than a few holes busted in it, even when his squad had just flown to a random spot in the massive structure.
"Hey, that's me," Saitama pointed funnily at a very person-sized hole in the wall.
"Did you get hit through it head-first, Master?" Genos asked curiously.
"Yeah! How'd you know?" Saitama nodded, looking over with a grin as he was impressed at Genos' deduction.
Which he shouldn't be.
The silhouette-like hole in the wall was very top-heavy, as in, there was a large, egg-shaped hole where his head had clearly gone through.
"...It is… you shaped," Genos just replied, and Saitama was saved the pain of being called a bald egghead again.
"Let's just go in," Gray urged, his body already starting to get excited from just sensing the massive power level inside, and he promptly flew through one of the holes in the wall.
It didn't take long for him to reach the source, and it was who he expected. After shooting through the interior of the Tower and heading downward a bit, Gray spotted a massive, towering being.
Did he always look like that?
Gray didn't know what he expected the Monster King to look like, but a giant behemoth of pitch-black flesh, various dragon-like heads slithering out from his waist, a snake-like tail where his legs should be, and an upper half that was… definitely interesting, was not what he expected. The torso was normal aside from looking rather plate-like, as it had chunks of flesh overlapping each other in a scaly way. Above that, there was a thick monstrous head, with a large black cross-shaped gap in the middle where both the Monster King's eyes and mouth sat, and natural spikey shoulder pads that sat above his four arms.
However, while his upper half was definitely monstrous and unusual, what was above the upper half was even stranger. Above the Monster King was a-
Woman? A… hot woman?
There were two thick, long legs sticking out of the Monster King's shoulders, which led up into the pure-white glowing body of a woman. She was rather beautiful too, with a slim waist, hour-glass body, and thick thighs along with large breasts, which would've been large even if she wasn't casually roughly fifty feet tall - and that was excluding the monstrous body she was attached to, which was closer to a hundred feet tall, making the monster roughly a 150 feet tall overall.
Most of his Ki is circulating in the woman's body, so it's not just for show, whatever the hell it is.
Sufficient to say, Orochi was a very intimidating sight. And, as Gray used [Observe] on the massive creature, his towering figure wasn't just for show.

Well, I don't know what the hell any of that means.
Gray knew the Monster King's name was Orochi, but now he was Orochi, but also someone named Psykos, but also Monas?
Like, the planet we're standing on? Does it have something to do with the modifier?
The [Consuming] modifier was certainly concerning, as it was an outlier compared to the usual personality-related modifiers someone had.
And, he's old as shit.
And Gray didn't mean that in the typical 'woah, he's thousands of years old! That's unusual!' way, but instead in the 'this guy is probably older than the Kai's' type of way.
And, he's had contact with 'god.'
Judging from how both Turles and now Orochi had made contact with the towering being, that meant he was definitely on Monas.
Whatever. No use thinking on it right now.
Gray just shrugged as he stared down the massive behemoth, pushing away his inquisitive thoughts.
Doesn't matter. Whether he's a monster, a hot girl, enhanced by 'god,' or a literal planet, I'm still going to kick his ass either way.
"Split off now," Gray called back casually, nodding at the majority of his group flying behind him, aside from a few of the heroes running on the surface below, "Saitama, I don't really give a shit about this guy. Let's beat his ass, and then leave Boros for me when he shows up."
I don't usually like double-teaming someone, but I can't be bothered to care here. As long as I get to kill Boros personally, I don't mind dealing with this monster quickly.
If anything, Gray would just be more annoyed if he wasted time on the Monster King and Boros arrived at an inopportune moment.
It's not like they played fair either, right? They literally quadruple-teamed Saitama while I was knocked out.
"Got it," Saitama nodded as he paused at Gray's side, not actually flying, but he might as well have been. Instead, his feet were a blur as he kicked the air under him, unintentionally causing bursts of wind to shoot down and cause craters in the surface Monas, and keeping himself in the air as he literally kicked off of it.
"B-Be safe!" Asia called out cutely as she shot away from the group, something which the others soon followed. The rest of Gray's squad split off, with just him, Saitama, Tatsumaki, and Caulfila remaining as they floated far above Orochi.
"He hasn't noticed us yet, so I'll make the first move," Gray said simply, cupping his hands by his side as a ball of pure-black Ki started to form. True to his words, the Monster King was doing a lot of… nothing. He was just slowly trudging forward, walking in a seemingly random direction as he didn't even spare a glance towards Gray's squad in the sky.
He'll regret that.
Gray's lips twitched up into a grin as he narrowed his eyes at the monster, his Ki starting to flow through his body faster.
No need to go overboard and drain all my Ki on the first attack. This should be enough to do some serious damage.
"KAIO-KEN x4!" Gray grunted, and a flare of red-Ki aura formed around him, sparking in the dark air of Monas and lighting it up a bit. As it did, the ball of Ki in Gray's palms twitched, expanding outward as it pulsated.
It's not my first time doing this, but it still feels fuckin' insane.
Even without going all the way and using [Kaio-Ken x10], Gray's [Kokuyo] was far more powerful than before. The air around him shook, shockwaves shooting outward just from the ball of power's very presence, and the dark sky lit up as streaks of lightning flickered around it. It bulged larger and larger, quickly filling the entirety of Gray's palms and causing his skin to burn lightly.
"Let's see how much you can handle," Gray smirked and he shoved his hands forward, using [Attack Boost] as the ball of Ki shot forward in a thick black beam. It streamed forward, cutting through the air as a shockwave of power shot outward, and blitzed toward the Monster King in a split second.
However, Gray's eyes widened as the body of the woman attached to the top of the Monster King suddenly jerked her head to the side, spotting the massive [Kokuyo] coming towards her, and didn't stay idle. Her hand flicked, and in a fraction of a second, multiple things happened at once.
First, far below Gray and his squad, one of the thick roots of the Tree of Might, which extended throughout the entirety of the Tower and seemed to have become even thicker than when Gray had last seen them, abruptly ripped upward. It was so far below Gray that he couldn't even see it, but in a split second, a thousand-foot-thick root was suddenly lashing upward at his attack.
It clearly aimed to knock the dense beam of power aside, but the Monster King was far too ambitious if he thought that was enough. As the root smacked head-on into the [Kokuyo], the attack stalled out for only a millisecond. Then, it tore through the root, creating a gaping hole as it continued forward without delay.
Didn't expect that, did you-
Gray blinked, and in the time it took him to blink, there was suddenly a mountain in front of him. Literally - he closed his eyes for just a millisecond, reopened them, and suddenly the surface of Monas far below had curved upward, creating the largest blob of dead and decayed land that he had ever seen. It was easily hundreds of thousands of feet tall, exceeding anything Gray had ever seen on Earth, and curving so far upward that it pierced into the very space above Monas.
Well, that's not good.
But, Gray didn't have time to think about that, just narrowing his eyes as he shoved his hands forward again, forcing more Ki into his attack.
He can control the planet, but…
Gray smirked, his [Kokuyo] continuing forward as it slammed into the front of the mountain, and promptly blasted through it. It tore through the massive orange and sandy structure effortlessly, causing it to crumble around the beam of destruction as it continued forward, blitzing at the Monster King - who, with a big-ass mountain in his way, Gray couldn't even see, but he knew was there. The mountain's top half was consumed in a massive explosion of smoke, with rocks being flung outward as the [Kokuyo] carved through it like butter, and the roar of the biggest landslide any planet had ever seen rang out.
Gray narrowed his eyes, expanding his senses as he couldn't see through the massive cloud of smoke, dust, and rocks, and tracked Orochi's energy signature. The Monster King's energy was massive and stretching outward in every direction - now even filling the entire mountain as he controlled the planet - but the core of it, where the woman's body stood, was still easy to track. It moved to the side in a jerking motion, letting Gray know that Orochi had realized he couldn't block the attack, and instead had to dodge desperately.
So what if he's a planet?
Gray grinned widely, staring through the cloud of smoke as the mountain literally crumbled downward in front of him.
"It's just a planet."
I won't even need to use my points to take this guy down.
After all, for someone as powerful as Gray, destroying a planet was child's play.
