Well, at least the bullshit is working in my favor this time. Who the hell is this?!
The figure that stepped through the portal was tall and fit, with a broad frame and muscular physique. He had a square and handsome face, with a sharp jawline and a beard framing it. His outfit was pretty abnormal, as his hard-looking suit was a mixture of black and white, and there was a long white cape billowing out behind him. He looked to be middle-aged, in his late thirties or early forties.

Gray's eyes widened, a smirk coming onto his face as he took in the mans character sheet.
The number one hero, huh? He's definitely on our side, and he's not too shabby either.
Blast was no Saitama -no one was - but he certainly wasn't a pushover either.
"No. In fact, you're right on time," Gray said, being honest as his smirk twitched into a large grin.
If he had come earlier, he really wouldn't have been much help. He's outclassed heavily by Boros, but considering that the bastard is half-dead right now?
Blast had come at the perfect time. Boros was weak enough that the hero would be able to hold both him and Garou off while Gray could destroy Monas, and he was a fresh body. In a battle where every party was exhausted from the intense fight, a fresh newcomer was overpowered.
"I know you're my ally," Blast said simply, not even glancing over his shoulder at Gray as he didn't explain any more, "Tell me what you need me to do to win this fight."
Well, that saves a lot of time!
"Just distract them for a bit. I won't need more than fifteen seconds," Gray responded easily, his hand already tapping the air as he navigated the shop UI.
"Fifteen seconds?" Blast matched his wide grin with a confident one, staring down the huffing Boros without fear, "No problem."
Fifteen seconds sounded like a pretty short amount of time, but in a fight like this? Where a dozen punches could be thrown in only a fraction of a second?
It might as well have been a lifetime. Despite that, Blast didn't back down as Boros launched forward.
"I'm not interested in you!" The alien thief shouted, blurring as he appeared in front of Blast in the blink of an eye with his fist raised - intent on ending the hero's life quickly so he could get back to fighting Gray.
"Rude," Blast smirked, his eyes narrowing, and a portal appeared right in front of his arm. Another one appeared in front of Boros' thrown punch, and Blast's fist rocketed forward - needing to cover much less air, and as a result, being able to match Boros' despite the speed gap.
Their knuckles met in the middle, and a shockwave reverberated outward from the impact. Blast's teeth gritted as Boros' punch pounded into his own, but he didn't back down - instead just creating another portal in front of his other hand. His fist launched through it, coming out of another one right in front of Boros' face, and the alien was sent launching backwards as the first smacked into his face. The force of Blasts' strike cracked the air like thunder, and Boros snarled as he quickly stabilized himself without taking too much damage. Meanwhile, Garou didn't hesitate - taking advantage of Blasts' fists both being partway through the portals as he lunged at him from behind.
However, Blast moved quickly - a dozen more portals appearing in front of him as his fists became a blur. One popped out above Garou, catching him off guard mid-pounce as his fist made contact with the top of his head. As Garou hissed and stabilized himself, only letting his body fall a couple of feet from the blow, another appeared right in front of him and slammed into his nose.
As Garou's head snapped back from the blow, a portal formed behind his head, and he was sent snapping forward again. Another one appeared in front of his gut, knocking the wind out of him with a harsh blow, and then yet another portal appeared behind him - knocking him forward as it pounded into his back.
Portal after portal formed and dissipated in a fraction of a second - sending the unprepared Garou on a trip up, then down, then in every possible direction as he was knocked around like a punching bag. In this time, Gray caught the Senzu Bean as it appeared in front of him, watching the display approvingly.
How fuckin' high is this guy's [Portal Creation]?! I thought mine was high, but I definitely can't move them around that quickly!
The chain of blows ended as Garou's body tensed, and he started to flow like water - letting each portal-punch barely miss his body as Blast paused his assault.
"Who the hell are you?" Garou spat out, looking more than a bit annoyed at the beating he had just taken.
"Blast," Blast replied, his face completely serious, and it only served to piss off Garou more.
Boros came blasting in from behind again, his fist aimed at the back of Blast's head, and Garou took the opportunity to move as well. He lunged forward, his body twisting in the air as he gathered momentum, and then swung a kick at Blast's face just as Boros' fist crashed towards the back of Blast's head.
However, a portal opened in front of Garou's foot last second, and to the hunter's shock, his own attack disappeared into the void. A second later, the same foot came out behind him, and Garou ducked just in time to avoid kicking himself in the back of the head - jerking his leg back as well to get it out of the portal.
"The hell?!" Garou cursed, dodging to the side as Blast followed up with a punch that twisted the air around it into another portal. The portal strike came at Garou from above this time, but he was saved as Boros ducked under the initial portal, and then expertly jabbed his fist forward at Blast's gut - punching so quickly that a boom rang out, and that he was able to make contact before Blast could create a portal to block the attack.
"Guh," Blast grunted, stumbling back in the air as his eyes went wide, and he hastily created a portal under himself, vanishing and reappearing a dozen feet away before Boros could follow up.
He's skilled with the portals, but he's both slower and weaker than Boros.
Gray's thoughts were proved right as Boros launched forward again - a streak of pink Ki flaring up behind him as he appeared in front of Blast with his fist cocked back. However, Blast wasn't the number one hero for nothing. He narrowed his eyes, leaning back as a portal appeared, teleported him away, and then closed before Boros' fist could make contact.
Blast knew he couldn't keep up with both of his opponents at once, but he also knew he didn't need to. He just needed to buy time.
He reappeared behind Garou, launching a punch that barely missed as Garou's body flowed around it, and then fell back into another portal - leaving Garou angry as his opponent vanished. Boros came launched at him as he reappeared, but a portal opened in front of his punch - redirecting it in front of Garou, who flowed around it as Blast disappeared into another portal.
"Stay still, you bastard!" Boros huffed, his body slowly failing as blood poured out of his eyes, but Blast didn't listen.
His entire body seemed to glow with energy as he bounced across the battlefield - dodging Boros, then baiting Garou, then redirecting another punch from Boros, then avoiding another kick from Garou. He kept them both off-balance and occupied with a constant portal-dance of feints and punches that came out of thin air - taking not a single blow as he only enraged the duo more.
Blast wasn't faster than them. He wasn't stronger. He wasn't more powerful. But with his portals, he didn't need to be - because he was everywhere.
I need to figure out how to do that shit!
To the side, Gray grinned as his hands were cupped while the quick series of events only took a few seconds. A small ball of pitch-black Ki formed between his palms, and the air around him started to buzz with power as he pumped Ki into his Kokuyo.
Meanwhile, Boros twisted mid-air, his body spinning like a top, and unleashed a flurry of kicks, but each one was swallowed by a swirling portal and hit nothing but air. Garou lunged from above, slashing down towards Blast's neck, but another portal snatched his arms mid-strike and redirected them at Boros. Boros caught Garou's redirected strike with a grimace, and the two were briefly tangled mid-air.
"How much longer?" Blast shouted up at Gray, his arms flurrying into more precise portal strikes as he turned the battlefield into a maze of portals and portals-within-portals.
"Just a few more seconds!" Gray called back easily, his Kokuyo building up more power as air started to stream into it. The world around him started to shake, struggling to handle the ball of pure power that was within Gray's hands.
"Got it," Blast simply nodded, raising his hands as Boros and Garou came at him again - making a mistake as they launched themselves at Blast from opposite directions. Blast only grinned as he opened a portal directly under his feet at the last second - and vanished. The two men collided head-on, their fists slamming into each other as a boom resounded through the battlefield. Dust and debris were launched into the sky like a mushroom cloud as a result, and Garou was sent skidding backwards as Boros' blow overpowered him.
Fuck, where was this guy hiding all this time? He's kind of kicking their asses!
Unfortunately, as if Boros could hear Gray's thoughts, the alien tensed - his blood-soaked eyes narrowing at Blast.
"I was holding back against you so I could keep battling the Saiyan for as long as I could," Boros said ominously, referring to not going all-out so his Meteoric Burst form wouldn't kill him as quickly, "But I'll die either way if you keep doing this shit! I'll use everything I have!"
Gray just looked at Boros blandly as his Kokuyo grew larger, pulsing in his hands.
The old 'I was really just holding back this whole time!' trick? It won't matter. He's going to kick the bucket any minute, so he can't do much-
Gray's thoughts were cut off as Boros burst forward with a renewed vigor - his fist slamming into Blast's gut before the hero could create a portal, and Blast was sent launching backwards. A moment later, Garou came from behind, and as Blast created a portal without even turning around to block his punch, Garou's fist curved around it. It was as if the man knew exactly where it was going to be, and Garou smirked widely as his fist made contact - causing Blast's back to bend over his fist, and then shoved him back towards the incoming Boros.
What happened next can only be described as a beatdown - Boros moved at new speeds as his body was drenched with his own blood, his regeneration struggling and failing to keep up, as he dodged every portal Blast placed, landing blow after blow as Blast became a human ping-pong ball. He was sent rocketing into Garou, whose leg dropped down from above and sent him crashing into a harsh uppercut, which in turn sent him flying back into a brutal punch. Blow after blow landed, and they started to add up. Blast's clean face became coated with blood as his hero outfit became ripped and cracked. Bruises covered him, and waterfalls of blood - a mixture of his own and Boros' - flowed down his side. He was given no chance to recover in the never-ending assault, but-
He bought me enough time. Good work.
Far above, Gray was grinning despite watching his ally get his ass kicked. His Kokuyo was pulsing with power, shaking the entire world around him as geysers of lava shot into the air, and the time had come.
"Good work, Blast!" Gray shouted, his hands slammed forward as the beam of pure darkness shot downward, "[Kokuyo!]"
The beam streamed downward, a blast of night in the now-lit world of magma and destruction. But it was never that simple.
"You think I'll let you?!" Boros grinned widely, pulling his arms apart as his chest started to glow, and a pink beam fired forward to meet Gray's, "Don't try to end this early by killing us all, Saiyan!"
Trust me, I'm only killing you guys.
Gray narrowed his eyes, ready to shove as much Ki as he could into the attack, but didn't have to as Boros' attack was suddenly cut off - coming out as just a small Ki blast because Blast appeared from a portal next to him and slammed a fist into his face.
"Keep going!" Blast called simply, his breathing heavy as he was caked with blood, but still fighting until the end.
Trust me, I will.
Gray gritted his teeth, and his beam slammed forward. It hit the surface of Monas, cutting through a large crater, then a massive pool of lava, and then kept going deeper. It carved deeper and deeper into the planet, and the world shook as tidal waves of broken rock and lava were flung into the air. Dust filled the sky, darkening it beyond the light of the lava.
The Kokuyo didn't stop - it carved through the crust, then the mantle, and then deeper and deeper until it reached Monas' core. Then, it still didn't stop. It continued to carve through even as the planet around it was crumbling to pieces - shooting back through the mantle, and then the crust, again as it came out the other side. It was as if a spear of light had completely impaled the planet.
In one fiery explosion, Monas died.
