Chapter 22 - Questions

Doubt crept into Kaleb's mind as he could feel the weight of each blow reverberating through his body, even when he narrowly avoided them.

"You might be naturally blessed with speed, but what do you do if that advantage is taken away from you?" he asked.

Beads of sweat formed on his brow, dodged and weaved, desperately searching for even the smallest opening. 

Kaleb's muscles began to strain under the relentless pressure, his instincts now barely helping him to keep pace with Victor's increasingly fluid movements. 

'I can't keep this up much longer,' he thought.

Kaleb barely managed to slip out of Victor's range, his heart racing as he pivoted away.

But Victor was relentless, the sound of their weapons clashing echoing like thunder as he pursued Kaleb with a fierce intensity.

"Nice try, kid! That was a smart move," Victor called out, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. "But against the wrong opponent! You have to be able to judge your opponents before you make a move"
