The Yin-Yang power didn't activate!
Though they didn't know what happened, Naruto and Sasuke both pulled back at the same time. Their bodies moved at an unbelievable speed, retreating in an instant to over a hundred meters away from Kaguya. Right then, they finally saw what had gone down.
Kaguya... was gone, replaced by a monster that kept swelling bigger.
"Tailed Beast Mode?" Sasuke hovered in the air, gripping his left hand tight with some annoyance. "So, just now, Kaguya used the chakra body from her Tailed Beast Mode to block our Yin-Yang power."
"It can work like that?" Naruto clicked his tongue. "Kurama said before it wasn't that simple, but I didn't think Kaguya would use this trick to dodge."
At that point, Naruto suddenly froze: "Then, if later we try to hit Kaguya and she just switches to Tailed Beast Mode, doesn't that make her unbeatable?"
"Good point, don't say it next time." Sasuke felt it was getting tricky too.
The huge body from the Tailed Beast Mode slowly took shape. A massive white tailed beast as big as the Ten-Tails appeared in the sky, with a rabbit-like head, an enormous body, and... a tail made up of nine tailed beast heads...
"This thing looks stronger than the Ten-Tails." Naruto nodded. "What do we do, Sasuke?"
"Why don't you ask the amazing Kurama?" Sasuke didn't even glance at Naruto.
To be honest, he had no idea either. Just from what he saw through his tomoe Rinnegan, it was already terrifying. That massive amount of chakra was way more than Naruto alone could handle—even adding Sasuke and Kurama wouldn't come close.
Is this the power of the source of all chakra?
In times like this, there's only one thing to do!
Kurama! Time for a team fight!
A black space portal opened, and as it widened, the figures of Kurama, Hashirama, Madara, Kakashi, and Sakura stepped out from it. The first thing they saw was that massive rabbit tailed beast.
"What the hell is this freak?" Kurama's face was full of disgust. "It's uglier than me."
Kakashi, who was about to speak, froze at the words, his face showing that classic old man staring at his phone look.
Sasuke stared at Kurama with his tomoe Rinnegan, his eyes full of puzzled thought.
Kurama narrowed his eyes: "Sasuke, you're not thinking of using this chance with your boosted eye power to control me for a Perfect Susanoo, are you?"
Sasuke: "...".
He turned his head.
"How could I do something like that?" Sasuke looked at the distant massive tailed beast with a straight face. "I just wanted to ask how we deal with that thing over there."
Kurama leaned in close to Sasuke's face, eyes still narrowed: "Sasuke, I sense malice from you."
Sasuke stayed quiet.
The next second, he flashed a friendly smile: "Hmph, even if you guessed my plan, what can you do if I don't admit it?"
You're my good buddy—how could I do something like that?
Kurama: "...You jerk, your words and inner thoughts are switched."
Sasuke: "...".
"You two aren't going to start fighting right now, are you?" Sakura rubbed her forehead, looking at the man and fox with total exasperation. "Let's focus on sealing Kaguya first. If you want to fight, wait till we're back—then no one will care if you beat each other's brains out."
Naruto, standing next to Sakura, pictured those two beating each other's brains out and twitched his mouth: "I think if they really went that far, everyone in the ninja world would come stop them."
After all, if those two actually beat each other's brains out, the ninja world would be done for.
Sakura was speechless.
Kakashi took a deep breath, looking at the clashing Kurama and Sasuke, then at the speechless Sakura and the excited Naruto. A feeling called heartbreak hit him hard. His hand shook as he clutched his chest, wanting to say something but unable to get it out.
Hashirama scratched the back of his head watching this, feeling like he couldn't even get a word in. But with his simple brain, shouldn't they be doing something else right now...
"That thing's moving." Madara crossed his arms, staring at the distance. He felt no reaction inside to their argument.
In an instant, everyone went on alert.
Roar—
The massive tailed beast let out a roar, its Byakugan eyes locked dead on them.
Kurama narrowed his eyes at it: "Naruto, did you get the thing I asked you to grab for me?" M.I.
Naruto pointed at the ground with some regret: "Black Zetsu is right there."
Then, with a puzzled look at Kurama, he added: "Why did you have me and Sasuke catch Black Zetsu? Besides Kaguya's immortality, what's he good for?"
Kurama looked at Black Zetsu on the ground, his mouth curving up. He flew toward it: "He's no use to you guys, but to me, he's pretty useful."
He hadn't had a chance to get this guy before, but after going back to Kaguya's side, things changed. Kurama had figured he'd have to wait longer, so succeeding now was a bit unexpected: "Give me a little time."
With that, Kurama sped up and vanished, landing on the ground.
Naruto shrugged: "So secretive."
Hashirama laughed it off without a care: "Well, there's probably a reason. Anyway, for now, we just need to seal Kaguya—everything else is minor."
"The Yin-Yang power doesn't work on that tailed beast." Sasuke spoke up from beside Madara. "We have to find Kaguya's real body, or just kill that tailed beast outright and force her to show up."
"How?" Madara turned to look at Sasuke.
Sasuke hesitated before saying: "Hit it with big powerful ninjutsu. That thing doesn't look very fast."
"Got it." Madara nodded in agreement.
Two complete Susanoo—one blue, one purple—rose up. Kakashi watched the scene without pause. His Mangekyo Sharingan spun in his eyes, and in the next second, his own blue complete Susanoo formed.
Hashirama laughed ha-ha and clapped his hands. A giant wood golem took shape again.
Naruto watched the four charging ahead, especially Sasuke and Madara's backs. While gathering chakra, he leaned close to Sakura and whispered: "Sakura, don't you think Sasuke got serious all of a sudden after meeting Madara?"
Sakura nodded firmly: "Maybe because Sasuke knows Madara's one of the only two living Uchiha left in the ninja world."
After Obito and Itachi died, Sasuke was the last Uchiha in the world. But Madara had used Kaguya's body to force the Rinne Rebirth and revive himself and Hashirama. So now, the ninja world had two living Uchiha.
"Oh~ no wonder." Naruto nodded like he got it. "I was wondering why he turned so serious all of a sudden—it's weird for me."
Sakura rolled her eyes: "You better not let Sasuke hear you talking about him behind his back, or he'll come after you."
Naruto grinned without a care: "No way, Sasuke and I both know what we're like. Calling us not serious is just a compliment."
And he seemed pretty proud of it...
Blue veins popped on Sakura's forehead.
It's been a while since I punched Naruto—my fist is getting itchy.
