The morning sunlight didn't manage to bring warmth through the white curtains, but it made the entire bedroom bright and airy.
The victory celebrations in Istanbul had ended the night before, for every Arsenal player, coach, staff member, and even the club owner, Gilbert.
Ivanka let out a soft hum, her hand brushing over the man's solid chest, finding a comfortable spot to lean against, finally feeling at ease.
They had agreed to restrain themselves, not to go to bed together, yet she had still allowed this troublesome man to take advantage of her excitement from last night… and he had succeeded.
What was worse, in her imagination, even if she had given herself, there would at least have been flowers, wine, candles, and a delicious dinner.
To the sound of beautiful music, Gilbert would have invited her to dance a waltz, and they would have looked into each other's eyes under the candlelight, sharing tender moments…
But reality had completely surpassed Ivanka's expectations. There was no candlelit dinner, no waltz, and now there was even a third person involved—a three-way encounter.
Although Ivanka could hardly be considered innocent, sharing a man with another woman was still a first for her.
Thinking of this, Ivanka bit the man's chest, waking Gilbert instantly.
"Ouch," Gilbert awoke, patting Ivanka's forehead. "Why'd you bite me?"
"Hmph," Ivanka snorted. "Bite the wrong place. I should have bitten your naughty part so you couldn't bully me anymore."
"You have to be fair with your words," Gilbert said, feigning grievance. "Who was shouting last night, telling me to go harder, keep going, keep it up?"
Ivanka's face flushed, firmly denying it. "It wasn't me shouting, it was her."
Jill Hazel pretended to be asleep, squeezing her eyes shut tighter at this, but her act didn't work; Gilbert simply patted her awake.
"It's time for breakfast…"
After being completely honest last night, Gilbert felt no embarrassment. He put on his shorts and went to wash his face and brush his teeth, leaving the two women silently behind.
After a while, Ivanka spoke. "Call me… sister…"
"Si… sister."
Jill Hazel blushed, privately comparing their physiques. She realized her bust was larger, while Ivanka's legs were longer.
Breakfast was as lavish as ever. Now that they were both his women, Gilbert didn't hold back in giving instructions.
"Jill, read the newspaper to me."
"Alright," Jill Hazel said, just as she picked up the paper, only for Ivanka to snatch it away.
"Don't spoil him. If you have eyes, read for yourself. What a terrible habit, hmph!" Ivanka slapped the newspaper on the table and continued eating breakfast.
Jill Hazel smiled shyly at Gilbert, continuing her meal.
"You're heartless," Gilbert joked, sipping Turkish coffee and enjoying breakfast.
Clearly, as an international cultural and tourist city, Istanbul had many newspapers in English despite Turkey having its own language and script, so Gilbert had no reading difficulties.
As expected, the newspapers were full of reports about last night's Champions League final. The match had been so miraculous, twisted, and thrilling that it dominated nearly every media outlet's front page.
This included European papers available in Istanbul, such as Le Monde, The Times, and L'Equipe.
Without a doubt, the Italian media were the losers in public opinion, stunned that after opening champagne at halftime, Arsenal came back to score four goals, leaving the Rossoneri and their fans in disbelief.
Meanwhile, British media flaunted their triumph, with Fleet Street journalists mocking the Italians mercilessly.
But the most notable coverage was the players' interviews. Team captain Vieira said, "At halftime, our spirits were low; we thought victory was impossible. But our club owner, Gilbert, came in. He didn't scold us. He encouraged us, giving us the confidence and courage to play the second half."
Van Persie, who scored the team's first goal after coming on as a substitute in the second half, added, "I don't know why, but when I saw Gilbert walk in, I felt completely calm, as if everything was under control."
Henry said, "His calm smile inspired me, helping me dispel the tension and fear in my heart."
Every member of the team, including Coach Wenger, mentioned Gilbert more or less.
Arsenal fans were pleasantly surprised. Such a club owner was rare and hard to find. At the team's most difficult moment, he resolutely stood with them, inspiring them through his spirit.
Previously, fans accepted Gilbert because he provided ample funding for the club. Now, they genuinely recognized him as a true Arsenal person, the master of the Gunners.
After breakfast, Gilbert had to return to North America. The release date for the Batman: Begins was only a few days away, and he needed to get back.
Before leaving, he said to Jill Hazel, "Go back, pack your things, and move to Los Angeles. I'll inform Sheena to sign you. Afterwards, whether for modeling work or cameo appearances in films, it'll all be convenient."
Jill Hazel lowered her head and said softly, "Understood, Master."
"Not Master, call me Lord."
"Lord…"
That soft, gentle voice pleased Gilbert greatly. He lifted Jill Hazel's chin and gave her a French wet kiss.
"I'm leaving. See you in Los Angeles."
"Mm." Jill Hazel nodded, watching Gilbert and Ivanka's departing figures with a sense of loss.
Gilbert didn't rush to leave Istanbul. He first went to the hotel where Arsenal was staying to take a group photo with the players in the lobby.
He held the Big Ears Cup, with Professor Wenger and team hero Van Persie on either side. The 2004–2005 Arsenal championship lineup was thus preserved.
After the group photo, Gilbert had a private chat with Professor Wenger. "Professor, winning a Champions League title, that won't satisfy you, right?"
"Of course not," Professor Wenger replied. "In fact, this victory was extremely thrilling. One could say last night God was on our side. During the off-season, I'll continue to strengthen the squad to maintain our championship spirit."
"Excellent," Gilbert said, pleased with the attitude, patting his waist. "Don't worry about transfer fees. The new stadium can be operational next year. I hope the team can welcome our new stadium with a treble, creating a new chapter in Arsenal's history."
"What will the new stadium be called?" Professor Wenger asked.
"Not decided yet. Let's see who's interested in buying the naming rights!" Gilbert said with a smile.
After meeting with the team, Gilbert boarded his private plane, heading for Los Angeles.
Before takeoff, Ivanka posted an update on Gilbert's social account with the team's group photo.
She added a brief caption: "Win, we celebrate together. Lose, we fight together."
Soon after posting, many fans liked and commented. Numerous big-name celebrities also sent congratulations, while movie fans who didn't care about football urged Gilbert to return quickly to work on his film.
On the day after Arsenal's victory, May 26, the long-awaited, highly anticipated epic film Kingdom of Heaven officially held its premiere.
However, the audience's reaction at the premiere cast a shadow over the film.
