Chapter 415 - Chapter 415: The Black Horn Tribe

As soon as the words left his mouth, the red-purple-skinned alien stepped in front of the human who had been struck, filling the gap in the line. He continued to shout loudly, "What are you all standing around for? Adjust your breath and get back into the fight!"

The more than twenty humans who had been thrown back looked ashamed, quickly scrambling to their feet. With their soul power circulating, they forced out the clotted blood in their bodies and rejoined the fray.

Hidden in the foliage, Lin Qian couldn't help but admire the alien's actions. Despite his rough demeanor toward the humans, he still shielded them from the pursuing purple-black-skinned aliens, preventing them from losing their lives.

From Lin Qian's perspective, this red-purple-skinned alien was the strongest of the group, at the peak of Nirvana Realm Stage Three, likely the leader of the rescue team.

"But that Nirvana Realm Stage Six alien hasn't made a move yet," Lin Qian mused, frowning. He flipped down from the tree and cautiously moved closer to the group of captives, keeping an eye on the battlefield as he approached.

At this moment, all the purple-black-skinned aliens, except for the leader still sitting calmly on his soul beast, had charged into battle against the mixed rescue team.

None of them noticed Lin Qian's arrival, and with their lower cultivation levels, they couldn't sense his presence.

However, the nearly three hundred captives, their chains dragging on the ground, nervously glanced around, clearly aware of Lin Qian's presence.

The humans among them were especially stunned, their eyes widening in shock as they watched the young, cleanly dressed human man in white robes calmly walk toward them.

They couldn't understand it—did this young man not know fear? How could he simply walk over to them like this?

One human stared blankly at Lin Qian as he approached, watching in disbelief as the young man crouched down and placed his hand on his shackles.

The young man smiled at him, and with a crisp crack, the seemingly unbreakable shackles shattered in his hand.

Not only that, but the young man's power seemed to flow along the chains, spreading to the others.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

One after another, the sound of exploding shackles echoed as the restraints around the captives' wrists shattered.

Everyone stared in shock as their shackles fell to the ground with a clatter.

The sound of the chains breaking was loud, drawing the attention of everyone, especially the striking figure of the young man in white.

They were all momentarily stunned, unable to comprehend where this young human had come from and how no one had noticed him.

Moreover, he had somehow managed to break all the captives' restraints!

In the midst of the battle, the mixed rescue team of humans and other races faltered. The humans looked at the young man in disbelief, their faces filled with confusion.

They were especially stunned by the sight of the shattered shackles on the ground. They knew that these Spirit-Sealing Chains were incredibly difficult to break. The formations within the chains not only suppressed the soul power of those bound by them but also made the surrounding spiritual energy almost non-existent.

In such conditions, escaping was nearly impossible.

Furthermore, these chains were incredibly sturdy, almost impossible to destroy unless you had the key held by the alien captors.

Yet now, the chains had all been shattered, leaving everyone dumbfounded.

"Who are you?" The leader of the purple-black-skinned aliens, still atop his tiger-like soul beast, glared at Lin Qian, his voice filled with suspicion. "A human? You must be a formation master, right?"

"A formation master?" Lin Qian chuckled at the accusation. Given his track record with formations—often causing unintended explosions—he was far from deserving that title.

When Lin Qian had shattered the chains, everyone's attention had been focused on the battle ahead. They hadn't considered the possibility of the captives escaping. After all, with the Spirit-Sealing Chains, there was no need to worry.

If the alien leader had seen Lin Qian break the chains with sheer force, he might not have been so calm and would have fled instead.

Unfortunately for him, he hadn't witnessed the event.

The four-race rescue team pulled back slightly, keeping a distance from the purple-black-skinned aliens. Though they hadn't suffered any casualties, they had all sustained various injuries. In contrast, the purple-black-skinned aliens had suffered minimal damage.

This disparity in strength was evident, and the red-purple-skinned leader of the rescue team grew increasingly anxious. His face darkened as he glanced at the human youth behind the enemy lines.

"Liu Fang, do you know that human? Where did he come from?" The red-purple-skinned alien asked, his brows furrowed, turning to a middle-aged human beside him.

The man, called Liu Fang, frowned and shook his head, staring at the young human across the battlefield with a troubled expression. "I've never seen him before, but he's in deep trouble."

"The Black Horn Tribe's strength far exceeds our expectations. Our recent actions must have made them more vigilant." The short, stout alien added in a low voice, his face tense.

Meanwhile, in the captive group, Lin Qian ignored the Black Horn leader, instead helping the nearby humans to their feet. He used his soul power to assess their conditions.

After scanning them, Lin Qian realized something was amiss. During the earlier battle, he had already noticed that the human fighters were far too weak.

Even with only one or two layers of soul energy, they shouldn't have been so easily overpowered. Their combat ability was comparable to the Origin Realm, despite being in the Nirvana Realm, a stark difference that explained why the red-purple-skinned alien had accused the humans of holding them back.

"I asked you a question! How dare you ignore me, you human worm!" The Black Horn leader on the tiger soul beast roared, his voice filled with rage. He pointed at Lin Qian, and a surge of soul power shot from his fingertip, forming a powerful attack aimed directly at Lin Qian.

The attack struck Lin Qian, enveloping him entirely in a wave of force.
