"Did you bring everything?"
McCarthy looked at Fox with some urgency in his tone.
"Holy One, I have brought all the scrolls; they're in the carriage outside, heavily guarded and very safe."
Fox replied respectfully.
"Good, you've worked hard, Fox."
McCarthy was slightly relieved to hear that those scrolls had been brought over.
There was no choice; because of Urbis's betrayal, almost all of his previous arrangements had been cleared.
Now, the scrolls from Fox's side were among the few remaining.
"These are all high-order Magic Scrolls, they are crucial cards in our upcoming confrontation with the True God; they represent decades of our efforts, and it's vital that nothing goes wrong..."
"Fox, you have contributed a lot too; I don't have much to thank you with, but if you have any doubts about breakthroughs, feel free to ask; I will assist you."
McCarthy made a promise.
Upon hearing this, Fox hurriedly bowed, a look of excitement on his face.
