After the surgery, Mumei lay quietly on the operating table. Despite being completely blind at that moment, there wasn't a trace of panic on her face.
Shinji observed all of this.
It could be said that Mumei was an exceptionally pure Uchiha. If she didn't trust someone, no amount of effort could change her mind. But once she placed her trust in someone, it was absolute—unconditional, willing to give everything.
After putting away the surgical instruments, Shinji softly asked, "How do you feel?"
Mumei carefully sensed her condition and said, "I can't quite describe it. In short, having someone else's eyes feels very strange!"

Shinji let out a sigh.

Shinji praised her.

He thought he'd hidden it well, but Mumei had seen through him. However, with Mumei in a critical recovery phase, he didn't want to tell her about the Hegemon now. After all, sharing it would only add another person to worry.
Helping Mumei to the dormant pod, Shinji said, "This dormancy will last ten days. After that, your body should be fully recovered, and the pair of Mangekyo Sharingan in your eye sockets should be nearly restored as well. Then we can proceed to the next step."
Mumei grabbed Shinji's arm. "Shinji, no matter what's troubling you, I'll help you—even if it means going against the whole world!"

After giving his instructions, Shinji activated Wazunagi, establishing a Wazunagi channel between himself and Karin, and began drawing her chakra from a distance.
To restore the near half-damaged pair of Mangekyo Sharingan in Mumei's eye sockets, only Karin's and his own chakra would suffice.
Karin's chakra was superior, however. Not only did she possess the Sage Body of both the Uzumaki and Senju clans, but her unique physique granted her Yang Release chakra an unparalleled recovery ability in the current shinobi world. That's why Shinji had turned to her first.
As for Shinji's own chakra, while it also contained the All Creation Power, its restorative effect was inferior to Karin's, making it a backup for when Karin needed to recover.

Shinji let out a relieved breath but remained cautious, not celebrating too soon. He brought Mumei to the equipment for a full-body examination.
After reviewing the data, he grinned. "The recovery is excellent!"
Mumei gently touched her eyes. "Though its perception isn't as sharp as my own Sharingan, I can feel this pair of Mangekyo Sharingan has regained its dojutsu power. Shinji, you actually did it—it's unbelievable!"
Shinji was also thrilled.
Mumei then noticed the Magatama on Shinji's Rinnegan had vanished again and asked, "Used up so soon?"
"Mm."
Shinji nodded.
Fortunately, the dojutsu power Mumei had previously infused was sufficient, or he might not have lasted the ten days.
"Alright, we can move to the next step!"
With that, Shinji led Mumei to the operating table, instructed her to lie down, and immediately began the eye transplant surgery.
Just like last time, the surgery was completed in less than a minute.
