Though it was within expectations, Shinji's lips curved into a smile. "It seems the power of your 'Yachihoko' has grown stronger!"
Mumei nodded emphatically. "Before, my 'Yachihoko' couldn't fully transfer Mangekyo dojutsu; it could only temporarily infuse dojutsu power into your Rinnegan. Now, I feel like 'Yachihoko' can completely restore the dojutsu recorded in the crystal!"
"That's fantastic!"
Shinji didn't hide his joy.
Mumei added, "But not yet. Fully transferring Mangekyo dojutsu requires a massive amount of chakra. I might need to build up my reserves for a while."
Shinji chuckled. "Chakra's not an issue. Don't you have 'Yachihoko'?"
The marking ability of 'Yachihoko' had no limits; it could mark anyone, making it even more domineering than Shinji's 'Jikibi'.
One could say that, aside from 'Jikibi' being able to create a 'Jikibi Space' to meet marked targets as a spiritual entity, it was outclassed by 'Yachihoko' in every other way.
Mumei nodded. "If I use 'Yachihoko' to absorb chakra from others, I could gather enough chakra in a very short time!"
Shinji confirmed again, "Is there really no limit to the number of targets 'Yachihoko' can mark?"
Seeing Shinji's seriousness, Mumei hesitated. "There shouldn't be a limit. I've marked over a hundred people before, but after being sealed, all those crystals were lost, and even part of my memory is gone."
Shinji was aware of this; otherwise, Mumei wouldn't have forgotten her own name.
Mumei continued, "After fusing the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, the power of 'Yachihoko' has skyrocketed. I feel like marking thousands of people wouldn't be an issue."
Hearing this, a bold idea sparked in Shinji's mind.
Mumei currently wielded three Mangekyo dojutsu: 'Yachihoko', 'Amaterasu', and 'Tsukuyomi'. Her and Shinji's crystals also held records of three more Mangekyo dojutsu: 'Susanoo Tomoshibi', 'Jikibi', and 'Wazunagi'.
In other words, Mumei could now boost her dojutsu power by absorbing massive amounts of chakra through 'Yachihoko' or enhance it further by mastering her eyes with 'Susanoo Tomoshibi'.
If necessary, Shinji could even transplant First Hokage cells into Mumei to further amplify her chakra strength.
This way, Mumei's dojutsu power could reach an unimaginable peak!
In such a scenario, her 'Yachihoko' would also be immensely enhanced, potentially allowing her to mark thousands—or even tens of thousands—of targets.
Optimistically, if Mumei could mark ten thousand shinobi and pool their chakra, her chakra reserves would surpass even that of a Tailed Beast!
"Mumei already wields 'Tsukuyomi'. As long as she has enough chakra, she should be able to unleash a small-scale 'Infinite Tsukuyomi'!"
The more Shinji thought about it, the more feasible it seemed.
Mumei's 'Yachihoko' was clearly a snowballing dojutsu—the more targets it marked, the stronger it became; the stronger it became, the more targets it could mark.
The only issue was the efficiency of marking targets with 'Yachihoko'.
Marking thousands of shinobi without drawing attention was no easy task. But if Mumei could gather enough chakra to unleash a small-scale 'Infinite Tsukuyomi', she could use it to mark even more targets at once.
Seeing Shinji lost in thought, Mumei asked curiously, "Shinji, what are you thinking about?"
Shinji quickly shared his concept of a small-scale 'Infinite Tsukuyomi'.
Hearing his idea, Mumei's eyes widened. "In-Infinite Tsukuyomi?"
"Yes!" Shinji nodded, explaining, "It involves using the moon as a mirror to reflect the power of Tsukuyomi, spreading it across the entire shinobi world! But we don't need to cover the whole world—just the core regions would suffice!"
Mumei had never considered using 'Tsukuyomi' to mark targets for 'Yachihoko', so she was stunned for a while before asking, "Shinji, why do we need so much chakra?"
"To break through to a higher realm!"
Shinji's smile faded.
If Mumei could unleash a small-scale 'Infinite Tsukuyomi' before the Ten-Tails' revival, amassing chakra close to that of the Ten-Tails, Shinji would have the confidence to control it.
Even if the Ten-Tails' revival failed, he'd have the power to stand against the Hegemon!
Mumei didn't ask further and simply nodded. "Alright, if you're set on it, I'll unleash Infinite Tsukuyomi!"
Later, Shinji quietly returned to the village with Mumei and had her secretly mark Shion, Karin, Haku, Kimimaro, Neji, Ryuzetsu, Chino, and other subordinates with 'Yachihoko'.
In an instant, Shion, Karin, Kimimaro, and Neji sensed something amiss.
Shinji had no choice but to use the 'Jikibi' temporarily infused by Mumei to calm them down.
Mumei, who had stealthily activated 'Yachihoko', was astonished. "When I used to mark people with 'Yachihoko', ordinary shinobi never noticed. Now, with my dojutsu power so much stronger, they detected it instantly. They're incredible!"
Shinji smiled.
Shion, the priestess of the Land of Demons, had chakra so vast she could predict death purely on instinct.
Karin, who had awakened the Rinnegan, possessed the 'Kagura Mind's Eye', making her one of the top sensors in the shinobi world.
Kimimaro and Neji each wielded a Tenseigan, which issued a warning the moment 'Yachihoko' marked them.
In comparison, Haku, Ryuzetsu, and Chino were slower to notice.
Haku only sensed the anomaly an hour after being marked, and Ryuzetsu and Chino were about the same.
This likely stemmed from their bodies being honed to the extreme. Haku had cultivated 'Water Breathing' to the Mark stage, just a step away from Transparency, while Ryuzetsu and Chino had relentlessly tempered their bodies with the 'Twelve Palaces', making them sensitive to any bodily disharmony.
Mumei marveled, feeling as if she'd been caught red-handed doing something naughty each time a mark was detected.
When she later tried activating 'Yachihoko', she was utterly shocked.
She discovered that the twelve- and thirteen-year-olds Shinji had her mark all had chakra levels at least on par with elite Jonin.
Karin and Shion's chakra reserves were so vast that Mumei briefly thought her 'Yachihoko' was malfunctioning.
