Raihne's Point Of View
We had finally made it to the new safe house, after a long arduous journey. To ensure the safety of everyone we had to escort, we had changed vehicles and our means of transportation five times.
It was arguably excessive and bordered on the side of paranoia, but no one could argue its necessity. Thankfully, we didn't encounter any problems along the way, and now everyone was beginning to settle into our new temporary home.
"Brother..."
I turned towards Payhne, as he approached me while carrying his duffel bag in from the van.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Are you going to be okay?" He asked, looking a bit anxious.
I didn't need to ask him what he was referring to, I was currently standing near the front door specifically because it was becoming unbearable to be near Sable. Her pheromones would have me by the throat by the morning for sure.
