Cole's Point Of View
I was a nervous wreck, and I knew Tristan could feel it too. I was trying my best not to worry him, but the ridiculous amount of gunfire and explosions that sounded out all around us, was nerve-wracking as hell.
After the sudden appearance of the ridiculously handsome estranged Alpha, I decided to change our movie selections to a Rom-Com anime, to distract Tristan. Unfortunately, that distraction only lasted for a single episode. Once the battle was in full swing, it was hard to focus on anything else.
As I noticed Tristan gradually becoming antsy, our television show ended abruptly, before a teary-eyed Nahana appeared on the screen. My eyes widened, as I watched her broadcast, and got an unexpected update on the battle outside. From the looks of things, we were winning the fight, but it wasn't by much.
