Chapter 359 - Chapter 255 : Reunion!!

"Rin, long time no see!"

In the Ichiraku Ramen shop, Obito kept turning his head toward the door curtain.

Only when two figures, one tall and one short, walked side by side through the curtain did an excited smile appear on his anxious face. He quickly jumped over to them and greeted loudly.

"Obito, you still look full of energy!"

Rin Nohara, startled by Obito suddenly appearing in front of her, smiled as she recognized him.

"Obito, are you finally willing to treat us today?" a somewhat lazy male voice followed.

"Why are you here too?" Obito turned his head a little annoyed, looking at Kakashi, who had suddenly grown taller than him over this time, and complained.

"Isn't this the class reunion you mentioned?" Kakashi sat down, reached out to order from the Ichiraku ramen owner, and said, "I remember I haven't been kicked out of Team Seven yet. I'm still working under Minato-sensei."

"Hmph!" Obito grumbled and sat in the middle, deliberately separating Rin and Kakashi.

"We hardly get to meet once, so don't fight! It's rare that we all have time today," Rin covered her mouth and smiled.

Now, she had become a lively young woman, her height and figure showing clearly. Especially as a medical ninja, her gentle nature made Obito fall for her even more.

Seemingly because he finally saw Rin, Obito couldn't stop himself from talking, chattering non-stop, wanting to share everything he had experienced with Rin and Kakashi.

After the Third Great Ninja War was coming to an end, Minato's Team Seven was soon split up.

This happened because Orochimaru and Tsunade made many bold changes to the village's old rules.

Minato, after becoming an advisor, kept Kakashi close and began training him as a trusted subordinate.

Although Minato was famous, his connections were still weaker compared to older ninja like Tsunade.

While Jiraiya's connections were also Minato's, Jiraiya had been away from the village for years since the end of the Second Great Ninja War.

People who once fought alongside him recognized Minato as Jiraiya's successor.

Some were very close to Minato, but they were friends and partners, not exactly subordinates.

So Minato still needed to choose some subordinates from among the Genin and Chunin to train.

This was to avoid having no useful people when he needed help.

As for Obito, he was taken back by the Uchiha clan and placed in the Konoha Police Force for training and development.

At such a young age, opening the Two Tomoe Sharingan was already rare. He was considered a genius in the clan and worth the effort to train.

Right now, the Uchiha Police Force was short on people.

Most of the Jonin in the clan were busy under the clan leader, watching Danzo and dealing with the Root.

The police force had lifted personnel restrictions and was no longer just the Uchiha's private area.

It was slowly becoming a place where the young generation of the clan came to train.

What about Rin?

After Tsunade took charge of the medical department again, she gathered some talented medical ninja back to the hospital for focused training.

Rin was one of them.

"Rin really works so hard!"

After hearing Rin's daily story, Obito instinctively pounded the table and sincerely said, "Why don't we ask Minato-sensei to transfer you to the Konoha Police Force? They urgently need medical ninja. It's safer than missions outside the village."

"No need. I'm happy staying in the medical department!" Rin shook her head and refused Obito's suggestion. She looked admiringly and praised, "Tsunade-san is really excellent! And very kind too!"

Kakashi and Obito looked at each other in surprise after hearing that.

Although they hadn't spent as much time with Tsunade as Rin and Tsunade had, both Obito and Kakashi had definitely met her before.

Especially Obito—his life had been forcibly saved by Tsunade.

Obito was very grateful to Tsunade, but gentle?

Thinking about the woman in his memory, "gentle" definitely wasn't the word that came to mind.

"The medical division is busier than before, but the atmosphere is really good! Especially with Tsunade and leaders like Nono sharing their knowledge and experience often.

Next to the hospital, they even set up a medical bookstore. It holds many case files and solutions left by our seniors.

Anyone in the medical division can access it based on their contributions to the hospital.

Besides case files, Tsunade-san has also made medical ninjutsu more accessible.

If you have enough contribution and strength, you can exchange for the medical ninjutsu and knowledge you want.

I've been living a fulfilling life, Obito!"

"Really? But every time I come to the hospital looking for you, you're so busy you don't even have time to rest." Obito said, a little down.

Good news—Rin wasn't spending time with Kakashi.

Bad news—Rin was now fully focused on work and study, not even paying attention to him!

"So this is why you deliberately keep getting yourself into the hospital often?" Kakashi suddenly teased from the side.

"Who said that?" Obito's face turned red in an instant as he glared at Kakashi and shouted.

"I heard from your clan in the Anbu. They're worried about your health." Kakashi said calmly.

"That wasn't on purpose! The injuries I got were all to protect the village's peace and stability!" Obito argued.

"Actually, many of your injuries could be healed easily with a healing tag. There are many patients in the hospital, and Tsunade-san has introduced lots of new things and knowledge. Even if you come here, I can't always stay with you," Rin said softly.

"I—I understand," Obito's energy lowered. Although he often came to the hospital, he couldn't always meet Rin every time.

According to the hospital nurses, Rin's talent was recognized, and some excellent medical ninja were personally teaching her with hands-on guidance for deeper learning.

For small injuries and such, she could no longer treat Obito as carefully and attentively as she used to back in Team 7.

After the three of them finished eating ramen and planned to leave for another place to hang out, the door curtain was lifted again. This time, four familiar people walked in.

"It's Kakashi-oniisan!"

One blond kid quickly broke free from the hand of the person next to him and rushed toward Kakashi.

Kakashi hurriedly crouched down and hugged the little chubby boy who had jumped into his arms.

Another child about the same age as the blond boy, wearing clothes with the Uchiha clan symbol, tightly held onto his older brother's leg, seeming a bit shy.

"It's Itachi, Kabuto, and little Naruto and Sasuke, huh?" Kakashi and the others greeted Kabuto and Itachi.

"Naruto and the others are just over two years old, and they're already this big?" Rin crouched down and gently touched Naruto's soft blond hair, surprised.
