Laura waited patiently, but also longingly, for Luca. Since she had no clue of his travel plans or how his schedule worked, she was always anxious every single day, hoping that that'd be the day his car finally pulled into the estate. It's hard when you're just sitting there waiting, and you don't have any idea where someone is.
But luckily, Luca gave her an answer! He sent her a message the other day, asking if she was still in his house because he was going to be back today.
Laura didn't even care if he had asked that because he was finding her presence increasingly intrusive—she was just happy to hear from him. Also, she was convinced Isabella had probably talked to him about her, making him act more logical and serious again, which maybe made him stay away longer.
But once Luca stepped through the door, everything would go back to how it used to be. Luca, Laura, and Martin; one big, happy family.
