Chapter 168 - The Unseen Threat: An Invisibility Talent Appears

In a room at the villa on the Floating Island, Yuto Saito and Mifen were together.

"My little one, you learn so fast," Yuto Saito praised.

Mifen raised her head, smiled sweetly, and then lowered her gaze, continuing to focus on the task at hand. In another room, Juzi listened in with her Hearing talent, her imagination running wild as she immersed herself in their private conversation.

The Unseen Power of Hong Qi

In the Xianmen district, Xian and his team were enjoying a feast of grilled meat and fish, along with some beer.

Hong Qi put his arm around a beautiful woman's waist and said, "Brothers, eat up. I'm heading back to my room."

Tony laughed. "Go get her, man!"

Hong Qi took the woman to room 306.

Tony said, "I'm so jealous. He saved a beautiful girl with such a great body."

Cai Cheng responded, "Brother Qi is an Awakened. We're just ordinary people. It's good enough if we can protect ourselves. Are you still thinking about saving people?"

Xian said, "She's beautiful, but don't get any ideas."

Cai Cheng: "How could I? Brother Qi's talent is too scary."

Hong Qi, a former author, had awakened the Stealth talent after the apocalypse began. He had been pretending to be weak, hiding his true strength until he met Qingqing, a beautiful yoga teacher with a curvy figure. He couldn't help but reveal his power to save her. Everyone was shocked when they discovered his talent for stealth.

The Stealth talent is one of the rarest and most powerful. In a stealth state, a user's movement speed increases, and they can even bring teammates along with them.

Stealth LV1: Increases movement speed by 10% and allows a user to bring one teammate for one minute.

Stealth LV2: Increases movement speed by 20% and allows a user to bring two teammates for two minutes.

Stealth LV3: Increases movement speed by 30% and allows a user to bring three teammates for three minutes.

Since revealing his power, Hong Qi had been promoted to Xianmen's second-in-command, second only to Xian himself. His strength was so formidable that even Xian, who had the Psychic Power talent, was afraid of him. Xian was always concerned that Hong Qi could use his stealth to appear and kill him with a dagger. Hong Qi was known as the "strongest sixth" because of his talent for hiding his power.

However, the Stealth talent has a weakness: it can be detected by enemies who are stronger than the user. For example, Hong Qi, with his 3-star strength, can kill opponents of 3 stars or lower without them noticing. But against a 4-star or higher enemy, his stealth will be detected, putting him in great danger. Hong Qi's rule for survival was to run away from any zombie or monster with a higher level than his own.

A Different Kind of Power

In room 306, the yoga teacher, Qingqing, asked softly, "Brother Qi, I heard you used to write novels?"

"I did," Hong Qi replied. "That was before the end of the world. In this new world, making money is useless."

Qingqing said shyly, "Yes, it's better to earn spar. Who was that girl who flew earlier today?"

"Her name is Nako," Hong Qi said. "She's a member of the God of War team. They're very strong."

"Are they stronger than you?" Qingqing asked.

Hong Qi laughed. "They're definitely stronger than me."

Qingqing batted her eyelashes. "You're the strongest person in my heart."

A smile appeared on Hong Qi's face. "Qingqing, as long as I'm here, you'll be safe. If we run into danger, I'll use my stealth talent and get you out of here."

Qingqing was happy. "Thank you, Brother Qi. What about the others?"

"We have 20 people in Xianmen now," Hong Qi explained. "My stealth talent is only at level 4, so I can only bring a maximum of four people. There's no way to save everyone."

To hide his strength, Hong Qi had been using ordinary weapons to fight mutant ants, but he hadn't gained much experience. Currently, his character level was 4, and his talent was at level 4.

Qingqing didn't say much; she was just grateful to have a powerful man protecting her. She hugged him tightly.

Hong Qi asked, "Qingqing, did any boys ever train at your yoga studio?"

"Yes, two boys trained there," she replied. "But they were only interested in picking up girls, so I stopped recruiting boys after that."

Hong Qi lifted her face. "You're so beautiful, you must have had many people chasing you, right?"

"Many people chased me, but I didn't like them," she said. "I like handsome men who can give me a sense of security, like you."

A bright smile appeared on Hong Qi's face. This girl knew how to play the game well.

Hong Qi laughed. "In my school, I was only the second most handsome guy."

"Who was the first?" Qingqing asked.

"Yuto Saito from the God of War team," Hong Qi replied. "He's very strong. According to Brother Xian, he has a team with over a dozen beautiful girls. They're all as beautiful as you."

Qingqing pouted. "Are you planning on finding a bunch of beautiful wives in the future?"

Hong Qi smiled. "I don't think so. Women are too much trouble."

Qingqing didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "So, you say I'm beautiful, and then you say I'm troublesome?"

Hong Qi quickly explained, "I mean that having too many women is troublesome. They get jealous and fight with each other."

Qingqing rubbed his arm and said, "I don't care. You're mine, and no one can take you away."

Hong Qi deliberately smiled. "You'll have to show me what you can bring to the table."

Qingqing realized this cunning man was trying to guide her into pleasing him.
