As Kaye's words sank in, I realized we were in serious trouble. There was no real way for us to defeat the curse. At least not Emmet's curse.
"So, let me get this straight," Norman said, raising a finger as if he was trying to piece it together. "Even if Emmet kills Azura there, he'll have to toss her body out here. When he does, the poison from his curse breaking will spread into the air, right?"
After he finished and watched our faces, we started nodding.
"And that'll affect him too," he muttered. We all nodded again.
"What about our curses? Do you think our poisons are gone or not?" Norman asked and I shrugged sincerely.
"All I remember is that it takes a few days. How many? I have no idea," I admitted. There was no way we could find out, unless the brothers somehow convinced their mother to share more details with us.
