Rachel and Rebecca appeared high in the endless blue sky, their gazes upon the continent of Sibba. The new sacred building was like a beacon and both women could feel the Trembling within the fate lines of the realm. The building was significantly affecting the balance of the realm.
The skies of Trannisa realm were never ending and had a depth to them that was indescribable. Its twelve continents set nestled within it as if placed into a plush pillow. This caused the continents to be anchored to a spot but this did not mean that the continents could not be moved. As a matter of fact, from time to time, they needed to be moved.
Rachel was about to make some adjustments now.
Rachel looked east in the direction of the continent of Jeuls and then west toward Playz. "Stay here and be my anchor. Trust me and don't move."
Before Rebecca fully comprehended the statement Rachel was gone. Rebecca's eyes slowly widened: 'Anchor?... Trust you?... Don't move? Saying things in this way makes me extremely nervous Rachel.' While Rebecca was lost in her thoughts she suddenly felt a peculiar sensation.
Suddenly there felt like a fine thread was pulling taut from the top of her head through the center of her being and extending out of her crotch.
Her eyes widened in surprise as she instinctively utilized all of her allies to fortify herself. The "thread" tightened more and more and she felt as if her very being helped it to maintain and understand its position. As if it had to continue to make fine, minute changes based on something about her.
She felt Sibba lower significantly then move into a northwesterly direction. All the while she maintained her central position above the continent. Not truly being pulled along but more as if she were the guide for the continent's movements.
As she calmed she fully understood the magnitude of the situation. "How can anyone be so powerful? And hasn't she moved continents by herself without an 'anchor'?"
"Yes but this way is easier and quicker."
Rebecca jumped and clutched at her chest dramatically. As she did so she realized she was no longer tethered to the continent. "Jeeze Rachel! First you use me to move a continent and then you try to stop my heart."
Rachel looked at her, the right corner of her mouth rising into a half smile "Maybe you would notice my presence if you stopped talking to yourself all the time."
With that she grabbed Rebecca's shoulder and they disappeared from the spot.
They reappeared over Playz in an instant. "Only two more times. We need to adjust Playz and Jeuls a bit as well.
Again she was gone but this time Rebecca knew what to expect and she did not panic.
In this way they moved Playz up higher into the vast sky and then further west away from Sibba. They did not raise or lower Jeuls only shifting it southeast away from Sibba.
All three of these continents were thousands of miles a part from each other and Rachel blinked between them over and over again monitoring the moves. She made sure they stayed the same exact distance from each other as they had been before the move.
Once this was done Rachel once again returned to Rebecca. Rebecca stared at her friend for a long minute and then slowly shook her head and pursed her lips.
'This woman', she could not help but continue to shake her head. "Couldn't you have just told the continents to adjust their positions? Why do you have to show off all the time?"
Rachel raised her chin a bit, smiled, and casually looked to Rebecca "first that would've taken about 3 days and because of that new sacred location on Sibba the move needed to be quick." Her smile broadened "secondly I like to show off." She winked and then looked down with a frown.
Rebecca instinctively looked down into the dark area below the sky, the Abyss. "What's wrong?" Rebecca's voice was tinged with concern.
"There seems to be a problem in the Abyss." Rachel stared towards the endless darkness below all of the continents and then sighed dramatically and massaged the bridge of her nose. "I have time to take care of it later. Let's go make sure everything is okay in Sibba's below."
Tranissa was separated in two sections, the sky and the Abyss. They were both mysterious but where the sky was endless the Abyss was not, and still hardly any of the Abyss had been properly explored. The below of a continent was its underside, of course. Sibba's underside was unique because it was a massive crystal and one of the balancing forces of the realm.
The crystalline area below Sibba continent was dark and lacked its usual luster only illuminated because of the luminosity of the sky. Due to this it had also turned opaque. If it continued like this it could lose its integrity and actually begin to crack.
This large crystal was not just a decorative item or even just a mystical item. Many beings worked and lived within it and it was vital to both Sibba and Trannisa Realm.
As Rachel and Rebecca descended Rachel's eyes shimmered. A rainbow light radiated from her and the crystal labyrinth before her slowly began to clear and shine.
People inside were pressed to the crystalline walls and as the clarity improved they visibly relaxed.
The light radiating from Rachel dulled a bit and she observed the labyrinth of honey comb paths within the crystal and the people walking within them. After a few seconds she nodded in satisfaction.
She could see the paths positioned at its outer edges as well as the buildings within the inner area of the crystal. All seemed fine and she detected no cracks or weakened areas.
Rachel released several strands of knowledge magic to monitor and record they situation here. They would return to her if either there was an issue or if they became full and could not record more.
She looked to Rebecca "Okay. We need to see about Anis."
She touched Rebecca's shoulder and they left the spot.
