Three weeks after the union ceremony and Rachel's nerves were in tatters. There was too much love and need around her and, to make the situation worse, Allons was constantly staring at her pleadingly. She kept putting off his Antrunie ritual, and Kefs needed tangible results; merely saying he was an Antrunie without a ritual or some sort of official ceremony was not sufficient for him. She knew he was trying not to annoy her and that his pleading look was likely in her imagination, but she was still annoyed, and his internal yearning felt like a direct plea to her soul.
