Franc didn't live with his family anymore but that did not mean he did not speak to them. As a matter of fact his familial relationships had greatly improved with the family tragedies.
He had actually become a very well known artist and both is landscapes and abstract pieces sold well. Everyone felt that it was odd that he had master two such drastically different styles so they deemed him a genius.
The truth was he did landscapes but he still loved drawing the runes as well. His abstract work was artistic play on runes and not even alchemist knew. He always made sure he used unrelated runes and that all his alterations to the runes were benign and had nothing to do with magic.
His art not only helped him to support his family it made him filthy rich. He was able to self fund his research and he bought or built himself several properties, underground secure bunkers, and homes.
