Time, Life and Void watch as the events of the Year that never was happen. Well, I have to say he's not stupid. Time, he changed stuff, of course, but the result was the same. Better than most who use their knowledge to get the girls; this is the first time I have seen someone help without changing everything. These events are important, they lead to what's to come, cannot stop the end of time if the master does not die" Time just looks on with annoyance.
Void notices that Time is looking at Alice, "What's wrong, Time? Are you upset that the woman is spending time with him?" Time tenses because of that. Life seeing this speaks " Time you better not be planning her demise, the last instance of you acting this way was when I got a girlfriend in his last life, luckily that universe can't be touched as it's at the epicentre of the universe. You can't intervene directly, so no killing off his companions, presides he has not looked at her that way, and probably sees her as a friend, ok, so no planning her end; otherwise, I will tell Space".
If voids comment made Time shudder, then life's made her freeze in place. Space is Time's twin, although not your conventional twins; both came to be at the same exact moment, making them Twins. The personalities of both individuals share similarities, being very possessive. The funny thing is, Space has no idea that Time took a soul to be reborn or that said soul is her equal. The reason is that many of the other aspects theorised that since they are the only Twin aspects, they might share an equal. Time would not want to share, so just in case she made everyone involved promise not to tell anyone.
Void and life can be seen grinning at Times dilemma, Time has always bee the tipe to punish anyone who messes with her and those she sees as hers, so seeing her unable to do anything at risk od exposing what she had done for her equal, not to mention if the other aspects were tight than she would have to share the Mechanic with Space a scenario that both would not want at all.
Life is the first to speak after teasing Time a bit "We should get back to what's important. He has handled things very well; he should at least receive a reward, right? He could have just gone and said fuck it and destroyed the timeline completely" at the mention of reward Time perks up and starts speaking very enthusiastically about how she should be allowed to give him his reward, unfortunately both Life and Void cut her of with a resounding no " not happening Time you would try to give him a reword that too over the top, same does for Void, I will be the one to decide the reward".
Mechanic's POV
As both the Doctor and I are returning to the Valiant to pick up Martha and her family, as well as Jack, my system screen pops up.

Revive card
(This item allows the user to revive an individual who has recently died; the item is consumed on use, however, if there is a remnant of their soul, that remains in the living world. This card can be used twice, but both uses must be with Remnant souls. If the body has been destroyed or tampered with, it will use the aspect of time to reverse the state of the individual's body to the point before they received the injury or substance that caused their death.)
Looking at the system, I can't help but wonder why I received a reward and from whom it could have come. The R.O.B. who sent me here, are they watching me? Best not to think about it. I might go insane if I think about it too much, so what if the one who sent me here is watching? It's not like I lost out in this whole new life I am in, Doctor Who, although I could have done without the baggage from both my previous life and the Time War, oh well.
I leave my thoughts and focus on piloting the TARDIS back to the Valiant. Once we arrive, both the doctor and I leave my TARDIS and start gathering everyone who was brought here by the master to act as his slaves.
I had made a memory wipe device so that I can get rid of the trauma that these people went through, the only ones not being wiped are the security and Martha's family, Unit can thank me later they will need to know what happened as for why Martha's family, that's an easy one if they forget Martha might not stay best to let them remember.
With their memories wiped, I guide them all to my TARDIS so I can take them home. As I enter the command room where I parked my TARDIS, I see that Sexy( I had to include The Doctor's name for his TARDIS, it's priceless) has finally reconfigured, I still find it strange that he calls his TARDIS sexy don't get me wrong a TARDIS is a beautiful living machine any mechanic would agree. Still, none of us is stupid enough to declare it like the Doctor calling his Sexy, not that he is wrong, but still.
After all the ex-slaves were in my TARDIS, I had them come to the telepathic circuit and connect them to it, which took a lot of reassuring, though. Once connected, I asked them to think about their home, and Ada took care of the rest.
After dropping the last one off, I head back to the Valiant just in time to see that the doctor, Jack, Martha and her family are ready to go, there's also a lot of unit personnel who must have come for the clean-up, and to find out what the hell happened as for them, the president of the united starts was killed tan nothing, one of the reasons I left the security personnel with their memories.
Noticing me, they pointed their gun at me "Hold your fire, he's a friend" After the doctor spoke those words, they lowered their weapons. Turning to me, he speaks again, "Were you able to drop them all off at home? Oh yeah, thanks for erasing their memories, they went through hell here. The Unit found the living quarters they lived in jail cells with no comforts at all".
"Yeah, they are all where they belong. As for the memory thing, I had a feeling the Master would not treat them well, so I thought it was best if they forgot. It's not a perfect fix, though, even if they forget, their subconscious will still be affected".
Not long later a member of the Unit solders approaches us " if you don't mind me asking who are you exactly, your not in our records and we have all The Doctors friends on record" i look at the Doctor who shrugs before turning back to the solder " I am a Time lord and my name is the Mechanic".
