"Miss Valery," Mobius looked at Valery and then at the girl. "Miss," he said politely and respectfully.
Mobius had been talking to Valery, also asking about the girl's origins. Valery only said that she was her daughter and nothing else. Mobius could only accept that answer because Valery avoided talking about the girl. He couldn't do anything even if he wanted to, after seeing what she did to the vampire on the floor. He understood that even if he tried to threaten her with silver, she could counterattack several times worse.
"If you'll allow us, we'll go have breakfast and sleep. Our conversation has given us a lot to think about, and we hope you'll give us some time before the next session. We will bring you enough blood so you can feed. I hope you won't be upset by the small amount of blood we bring, but we don't have the equipment for that."
"Don't worry, I don't need to drink blood," Valery said with a simple smile.
