Chapter 262 - Ch.262 Even Without the Infinity Stones, I Can Wipe Out Spider-Man

Nine seconds later, the clones dispersed.

Charlie swung into the air alone, three smaller Spider-Men clinging to him. Dazzling magic and brilliant electric arcs intertwined, golden webbing spreading across his body. The tri-colored suit shimmered with radiant energy, its overwhelming aura sending a chill through Thor-Peter and Supreme Peter.

"Magic Spider and Arc Spider—that's the Charlie Parker Venom-Peter was talking about!" Supreme Peter's eyes narrowed.

Thor-Peter, crackling with lightning, gritted his teeth.

"Damn it, that guy was right. We've all been played by this Peter!"

Supreme Peter and Thor-Peter locked eyes, reaching a silent agreement.

"Take down Charlie Parker first."

"Agreed. This guy's behind it all. No surprise—he's the ultimate Resurrection Match opponent."

"What are we waiting for?"

With that, Thor-Peter hurled Mjolnir, his body transforming into a bolt of lightning streaking through the night sky.

Zzzzt~

Rumble!

Thunder exploded, tearing through the spatial webbing. A golden figure shot upward, dodging Thor-Peter's charge while opening a portal.

Buzz~

The portal flared, but magical webbing spread visibly across its entrance, sealing it shut.

Even without Supreme Peter's interference, the Space Stone would've twisted the golden portal into fragments.

Seeing the portal fail, Charlie stayed calm. He threw a punch backward, unleashing a burst of radiant magic.

Boom!

Magical energy ravaged the sea, shockwaves rippling through the waves. As his fist met Mjolnir, the recoil jolted both Charlie and Thor-Peter.

"That's a hard fist!" Thor-Peter said, stunned, staring at the Spider-Man who'd blocked Mjolnir head-on.

"Your hammer's not soft either," Charlie grinned. "Too bad you didn't just throw it."

Vibranium armor gleamed, releasing the stored kinetic energy from the clash.

Boom!

A second shockwave erupted. Thor-Peter felt an even greater force surge through Mjolnir, nearly making him lose grip on his beloved hammer.

Bang!

The force sent Thor-Peter crashing into the sea, kicking up massive waves.

In terms of durability and enchantment, vibranium paled compared to Asgardian metal. But for absorbing and redirecting kinetic energy, even gods were left in awe.

Before Charlie could retract his fist, serpentine magical webbing descended, binding him tightly.

"Whoa, webbing that turns corners!" Charlie smirked, firing a web-beam that sliced through the magical strands, splitting Supreme Peter's form in two.

Pfft~

Supreme Peter's clone shattered, replaced by a swarm of duplicates.

Buzz~~

Within a second, countless Supreme Peters filled the night sky, firing magical webbing to restrain Charlie again.

But crimson beams flared brighter, their heat spiking. The magical webbing burned to ash, and the clones disintegrated before even reaching the beams, unable to withstand the terrifying temperature.

Pfft, pfft, pfft

As the clones vanished, the real Supreme Peter, hidden among them, froze in shock before frantically weaving hand signs.

Buzz~

Whoosh~~

The sea churned, waves surging into water dragons that lunged at Charlie with ferocious bites.

Alongside the dragons came Thor-Peter and the drenched Spider-Men.

"Take down Charlie Parker! Don't give him a chance!" Venom-Parker sprinted across a dragon's back, leaping with a forty-meter black blade slashing down, wind howling.

Whoosh~~

Facing the massive blade, Charlie blocked with his arm.

Clang!

The clash of metal echoed, nano-metal scraping the blade, sparking brilliantly. Charlie's blue eyes glowed brighter.

Tapping his chest, a red-and-blue spider totem flared.

Buzz~

A massive spider totem detached from his body, growing enormous and enveloping the attacking water dragons.

"That's…"

Venom-Parker seemed to recognize it, waving frantically at the others.

"Fall back! Danger! Don't come closer—"

Mid-sentence, the Spider-Men's spider-senses screamed, but it was too late.

A blinding light erupted, the massive totem exploding with unrestrained magical energy. The water dragons were shredded, and the sea below cratered into a thousand-meter-wide pit.

Boom~~

Whoosh

As waves rushed back into the pit, Supreme Peter stood stunned.

"You released the entire spider totem's magic? You're insane!" he exclaimed.

The move was powerful enough to kill a god, but it left the totem weakened, potentially incomplete, with severe consequences. Without a totem to channel the Web of Fate's magic, a Spider-Man would struggle to use magic and become frail.

What baffled Supreme Peter most was how a single totem could unleash such devastating power.

Unless…

"You… your totem devoured others!" he gasped.

Only that could explain its strength.

Before Charlie could respond, Supreme Peter clutched his head, screaming.

"No! My God! What am I seeing?"

"How can a Spider-Man have a second spider totem? That's not Spider-Man at all!"

In his disbelieving gaze, Charlie's faded totem sank into his chest, replaced by a second, radiant one.

Sensing its abundant magic, Supreme Peter nearly lost it.

This defied everything he knew.

But more shocks awaited.

Buzz~

Facing Thor-Peter, who'd survived the blast, Charlie detonated another totem.

"No!"

Rumble!

The totem unleashed endless magic, swallowing Thor-Peter's lightning orb. A vortex churned the sea, devouring Spider-Men.

To stop a rampaging Spider-Man, you had to act before they went all out.

Most crucially, don't let them recall, "With great power comes great responsibility." Without that, things got simple.

"Damn it!"

Under pressure, Thor-Peter hurled Mjolnir, breaking through the magical vortex to charge Charlie.

"Whoa, throwing it this time?" Charlie shot upward like lightning.

As they clashed, a third totem descended.

Buzz~

Rumble!

The third totem exploded. Supreme Peter was numb.

"How does a Spider-Man have three totems? This isn't science!"

He clutched his head as Thor-Peter was flung back.

"What are you yelling about? Move!" Thor-Peter barked.

Supreme Peter grabbed Aunt May and fled into the night, trembling. "This guy's too wrong. We're out."

Thor-Peter: "…"

Crack, crack~

A radiant figure soared higher.

"Thor? Heh."

A thousand-meter giant rose from the sea, slamming a palm down, a spider totem enveloping Thor-Peter.

"No!"

Boom!

The sea quaked, a shockwave like a nuke sending water thousands of meters high, flooding the battlefield.

Some time later, the sea calmed. Scattered red-and-blue figures floated, their breathing proving they were alive.

Less than a tenth of the Spider-Men remained, all unconscious.

Buzz~

A blue wormhole opened, and the "kind" god emerged.

Surveying the scene, Loki frowned.

"Where are their bodies? Washed away?"

He shook his head, a sly smile forming.

"No matter. Most of the Spider-Men are dealt with. Shame I didn't get to try more fun things."

Glancing at the floating Spider-Men, he waved, and Chitauri soldiers poured from the wormhole.

Boom~

The soldiers, on hovercrafts, fished out the Spider-Men and returned to the wormhole.

Loki searched the area, finding no others, and left via the Space Stone.

Buzz~

On a barren planet, Loki led Chitauri soldiers into a massive ship.

Sanctuary II, command room.

In the dim light, a dark golden throne floated.

On it, a towering purple figure rested his chin, eyes closed.

The soldiers' footsteps didn't stir him.

Ebony Maw stood silently nearby.

Seeing Loki, he signaled for silence. Loki opened his mouth but held back, eyes flashing with resentment.

If not for revenge, he'd never serve Thanos.

In his hair, a tiny Charlie eyed the purple giant between "mountain ridges," expression odd.

So, this was all tied to Thanos?

This Thanos seemed stronger. Would he be tough to handle?

The throne's occupant spoke.

"Is it done?"

As Thanos spoke, the Chitauri dumped the injured Spider-Men on the floor.

Loki bowed. "Great Lord Thanos, the bugs are dealt with."

Thanos scanned the Spider-Men, nodding.

"Good. All of them?"

Loki trembled, panicking. "Lord Thanos, I can explain—"

"So you failed my task," Thanos said, voice rising, anger evident.

An invisible pressure hit. Loki sweated, explaining, "Lord Thanos, I underestimated them. These bugs wield Thor's power and magic. One even—"

He glanced at Thanos.

"—could threaten you."

Ebony Maw sneered. "Impossible. Lord Thanos is the universe's mightiest. No one threatens him."

Loki: "…"

One day, I'll end that squid.

Before he could speak, Thanos glanced at Maw. "Let him continue."

"Yes."

Maw shut up. Thanos subtly scratched his finger.

He knew he wasn't the universe's mightiest. Without Odin's death triggering Ragnarök, he'd never have eyed Asgard.

Odin alive meant no chance.

Now, Odin was gone, Hela slaughtered Asgard, Thor fell to her Nightsky Blade, and Loki escaped.

Loki served him for revenge against Hela. Thanos knew.

He didn't mind using Loki to seize Earth's Infinity Stones.

His plan: take the Space Stone, lead his army to Earth, crush its heroes, and claim the stones.

But then, strange beings appeared on Earth.

Multiversal Spider-Men were his greatest obstacle.

To test them, he sent Loki to wipe them out.

Loki hadn't succeeded, but Thanos didn't rage. These bugs were tough.

He rose, his shadow engulfing Loki.

"Tell me about this one," he said.

Loki took a breath. "The bug's called Charlie Parker. He alone defeated all the Spider-Men, letting me bring them here."

"Charlie Parker?" Thanos frowned.

"Defeating all Spider-Men alone? Interesting." His lips curled.

"Yes, Charlie Parker," Loki continued. "Their goal was to save Spider-Man's aunt, so I used her as bait. They fought each other."

He sighed inwardly. Supreme Spider-Man was too fast, leaving no chance to grab May.

Bringing her here could've controlled the bugs.

But Thanos wouldn't easily aid his revenge, so Loki planned to kill May and pin it on Hela, letting the bugs' rage target her.

No opportunity yet.

He began plotting his next move.

Suddenly, his scalp tingled, and he scratched his head.

Hiss~

Pain struck. Loki yanked his hand back.

"What the—?"

A bug burrowed into his finger. He scowled.

"Damn bug, I'm a god—wait."

No ordinary bug could pierce his skin.

The bug shot out, a red-and-blue figure rapidly enlarging.

"No! It's Charlie Parker!"

As Charlie returned to normal size, Loki screamed, face pale with fear.

Chitauri soldiers swarmed.

Charlie glanced at Thanos, shrugging with a smile. "Sorry, I couldn't wait. Take you out, and Aunt May should live."

If Thanos invaded Earth, Spider-Man would fight.

As Peter's only family, May's odds of dying were high, even with a symbiote.

So, time to fight!

Charlie tapped his wrist device, Pym particles flaring. The red-and-blue giant burst through the ship's ceiling.

Bang!

Rumble!

The ship shattered, a purple beam blasting from the explosion.

Buzz~~

Boom~~~

Pain seared Charlie's chest, and he shrank back, dizzy.

"What the…"

His wrist device was destroyed.

Charlie's eyes narrowed. Careless. Didn't dodge.

A purple glow surrounded Thanos and his crew.

The purple figure advanced through the fiery rubble.

His golden gauntlet glowed with various colors, startling Charlie.

"Infinity Stones!"

Clutching his chest, Charlie staggered back.

"I knew I missed something. The Infinity Stones."

Regret hit. "Shouldn't have been so impulsive. Am I symbiote-infected?" He checked his body.

Thanos remained calm. "If I'm right, you're Charlie Parker, the one who beat all the Spider-Men."

Charlie shrugged. "You got me. But I'll bet my lush hair—no Infinity Stones for either of us. Fair duel."

"You have any?" Thanos sneered, the purple stone on his gauntlet glowing. A purple beam roared.

Boom!

Crack, crack, crack~~

The beam tore through the rubble, leaving a gaping trench, its power terrifying.

Charlie didn't try to tank it. The Power Stone could destroy a planet. Only an idiot would.

Before he could dodge, red energy surged, forming metal roots that bound his legs.

Reality Stone!

Charlie: "…"

Facing the purple glow, he shrugged.

"Well, this run's busted."

Tenth Resurrection Match.

Barren planet, Sanctuary II.

Command room. Loki reported to Thanos.

In the "forest" of Loki's hair, Charlie devised a plan.

In the movie universe, Infinity Stones were strong but not invincible without all six.

Here, they matched their comic-level power.

Just the Power and Reality Stones crushed Charlie. Exaggerated? No, terrifying.

To beat Thanos, he needed Infinity Stone power.

The simplest way: steal Loki's Space Stone!

It wouldn't guarantee victory, but it'd keep him untouchable.

Run if you can't win—perfect for a bug.

Charlie reached Loki's waist, spotting the glowing blue Space Stone.

Good thing gods didn't have storage artifacts.

As he reached for it, the stone vanished.

Charlie: "???"

A red-and-blue giant burst through the ship.

"What the—?"

In the chaos, Charlie saw a huge figure steal the Space Stone. His face darkened.

No wonder Ant-Man Peter hadn't fought—he'd shrunk and hidden on Loki, beating Charlie to the stone.

The figure flailed like a headless fly.

Thanos acted, the Infinity Stones glowing. A purple beam pierced Ant-Man Peter.

Boom!

The giant crashed onto the planet. Thanos waved, the Reality Stone dragging the Space Stone to him.

"Grab that bug."

"Yes!"

Ebony Maw and the others moved. Charlie saw Thanos' gauntlet held three stones: Power, Reality, Soul.

Three Infinity Stones!

Charlie mused.

So, Loki's Space Stone belonged to Thanos.

Besides Vision's Mind Stone, only the Time Stone remained on Earth.

With those three, Charlie could take Thanos.

But Thanos grabbed the Space Stone, placing it on the gauntlet.

Charlie: "…"

So, he had to snatch stones from the tiger's hand?

He'd wait for Thanos to lower his guard.

Soon, Ant-Man Peter and the Spider-Men were jailed.

A tiny ant climbed the throne.

Thanos tapped the armrest, deep in thought.

Loki screamed under Chitauri blows.

Thanos waved them off.

Gazing at the battered Loki, Thanos said, "This is a lesson. If an Infinity Stone is stolen because of you, you'll have no chance to live—or to avenge Hela."

"I…"

Bruised, Loki knelt, fists clenched, eyes burning.

"I understand," he growled.

He'd endured this humiliation before.

It reminded him of kneeling before Hela, begging for Thor's life.

Asgard's ruins. Loki on his knees, like a dog.

"Please, Thor's your brother. Don't kill him!"

"Brother?" Hela sneered. "Frost Giant spawn. What are you, my cousin?"

Loki gritted his teeth. "Please, don't kill Thor."

"Hmph. Frost Giant, you really think you're Asgardian?"

Hela kicked him down, stepping on his chest, mocking.

"Haha, how laughable. Odin tamed a Frost Giant with love. Touching! But even if Thor's my brother, I won't spare him. If Odin were here, I'd cut off his head for his sins. He's dead, so Thor's death is his punishment. You, lowly Frost Giant, aren't worthy of dying by my hand."

The Nightsky Blade fell, hot blood splashing Loki's face.

He'd never forget.

He hated his weakness, trading dignity for revenge through Thanos.

His path was long and thorny.

Thanos felt no pity. Having slaughtered countless races, he was numb.

He remembered only his oath, willing to sacrifice everything.

Even Gamora.

Her image stirred a ripple in his dead heart.

Then, a red-and-blue giant gripped the Infinity Gauntlet.

"What?"

Before Thanos could use the stones, a fist the size of a sandbag smashed his face.

Pfft!

A thousand tons of force sent Thanos crashing through a wall, the gauntlet falling to Charlie.

"Oh, yeah! Invincible!"

Wearing the gauntlet, Charlie's muscles adjusted to its size.

The stones glowed, their power sweeping the room, shocking Loki and the others.

"Damn it, it's Charlie Parker!"

Ignoring their panic, Charlie savored the power.

Purple energy coursed through him. Though not a demigod, his body could handle the Power Stone.

The Reality, Soul, and Space Stones, buffered by the gauntlet, caused no harm.

Four faint energies flowed into him, letting him sense the stones' primal power.

As he prepared to end Thanos, the stones dimmed. Strange webbing spread over the gauntlet, peeling the stones off toward Thanos.

Charlie: "???"

What? The stones had an owner?

No way!

In Charlie's stunned gaze, Thanos rose from the rubble, spitting blood, glaring.

"Damn bug, you're done."

Charlie snapped his fingers with the gauntlet. "I know."

Thanos grabbed the Power Stone, unleashing destructive force that engulfed Charlie.

Eleventh Resurrection Match.

On the throne, Thanos glared at the beaten Loki.

A tiny figure climbed the gauntlet.

The dark golden surface was rough. Charlie didn't act rashly, slipping into a crevice to find why the stones "betrayed" him.

He found something off.

Inside, strange webbing spread, slowly surrounding him.

Triangular eyes glowed white in the eerie strands.

"Peter Parker, congrats on finding me. Shame, I have my own plans."

A sharp voice spoke. Thanos sensed something, clenching his fist.

Buzz~

The Power Stone flickered. Thanos relaxed his hand, frowning.

"These bugs are a pain."

He removed the gauntlet, shaking out debris.

Twelfth Resurrection Match.

Charlie didn't explore the gauntlet. After grabbing it, he removed the stones.

Buzz!

The Power Stone surged through him, infinite energy flooding his limbs. He could unleash destruction with a gesture.

Without the gauntlet, he couldn't use the other stones.

But this was enough!

As he prepared to crush all with the Power Stone, the discarded gauntlet glowed orange with webbing.

Charlie felt a bad omen.

Even without stones, the gauntlet could annihilate enemies?

Orange light flashed, and Charlie's soul was sucked into an unknown vortex.

Thirteenth Resurrection Match.

Burned by the gauntlet multiple times, Charlie didn't follow Loki to Thanos' base.

The gauntlet was weird—not inanimate, loyal to Thanos.

Any move against it, Thanos knew.

Even if Charlie stole it, the stones returned to Thanos.

Worst, it stored stone power, using the Soul Stone without stones. Insane!

This wasn't scientific!

Charlie cursed but noticed something.

Webbing!

The gauntlet had webbing inside!

It was likely a Spider-Man variant.

In the multiverse, Spider-Man variants were endless. Becoming a gauntlet wasn't far-fetched.

Stealing it was impossible.

He'd need Earth's Infinity Stones to face Thanos.
