"Where did you go?" Shen Jiayi's mom asked.
"A friend got married today, I told you, didn't I?" Shen Jiayi replied casually, without a hint of suspicion.
"And you brought back so many things from a wedding?" Shen Jiayi's mom said lightly.
"I stopped by the shopping street on the way," Shen Jiayi said, glancing at her mom's expression, feeling a bit puzzled.
