Originally, this film ran into a small error due to one of its actresses, forcing the producers to make a last-minute replacement, calling in He Jinxia to the rescue.
The rescue operation went smoothly, nevertheless, the film was still somewhat affected.
Initially slated for a Lunar New Year release at the end of January or early February, it ended up being pushed to mid-February, delayed by over ten days, barely clinging to the tail end of the New Year film season.
The time they missed was the peak of the Huaxia film market, and in order to recoup the disadvantage in timing, the "Crash Through the World" crew ramped up their marketing efforts, ensuring that the majority of Huaxia knew of the film's existence.
