The weather in Imperial City in March is still a bit chilly. Sheng Yan was strolling slowly in the little garden at Dongting Lake Garden, occasionally looking up to see the kids throwing sandbags, which hit the ground with a "pah-chir" sound.
The sound wasn't loud, but it wasn't particularly pleasant either.
The kids in the neighborhood rarely saw Sheng Yan, curiously glanced at him a few times, only thinking this uncle looked really handsome, like the main character in animation.
Perhaps it was too quiet with him sitting there alone, some kids couldn't help but gather around. A chubby and particularly adorable child bravely asked, "Handsome Uncle, why are you sitting here alone, where are your family?"
Looking at the innocent faces of the children, Sheng Yan couldn't help but subtly curl his lips, and said softly, "My family will be coming down soon. I'm just taking a walk here first."
