Mo Shu looked left and right but didn't see Yu Mengmeng anywhere. He said, "Didn't you go to bring her over?"
Yu Siqiao explained, "She went to the small room. There are too many people, and she gets scared."
"That's not true. I took her out a while ago, and she wasn't scared at all. You saw it yourself."
Yu Siqiao sounded somewhat helpless, "Really, when I brought her in just now, she clung to my leg and didn't dare to walk on her own."
"Really?" Mo Shu found it strange. "I'll go have a look."
Yu Siqiao quickly led Mo Shu to the small room.
A piece of cake was placed in front of Yu Mengmeng, but Yu Mengmeng looked listless and had little interest in eating it.
Sensing Mo Shu's arrival, Yu Mengmeng finally perked up a bit and made an 'Ao' sound toward Mo Shu.
Mo Shu's heart ached. He walked over to Yu Mengmeng and said affectionately, "Poor baby, what's wrong with you?"
Yu Mengmeng rubbed against him, her face full of urgency, as if she had been grievously wronged.
