Wen Qiao walked around with her juice and sat on the man's lap by choice, nestling into his embrace like a well-behaved, adorable child.
Fu Jinghen stroked her hair, "Do you not want to leave me?"
Wen Qiao nodded and answered in a muffled voice, "I don't want to."
Even though he had sensed her emotional turmoil before, hearing her admit it out loud still filled Fu Jinghen with joy.
He looked down and pinched Wen Qiao's cheek, "Weren't you the one who proclaimed herself to be a career-oriented powerful woman earlier, telling me to focus on my work? How come you're the one losing heart now?"
Wen Qiao turned her upper body, looped her arms around Fu Jinghen's neck, and hugged him with her head on his shoulder, "I didn't lose heart, but I just can't bear to leave you."
Fu Jinghen gently patted her back, soothing her, "Isn't it just a five-day trip? It will pass quickly."
