Back in the break room, Liu Zheng made several calls to confirm everyone's safety before he finally relaxed.
"Boss, I'm heading to the kitchen to deliver takeout."
He said to Niu Ma.
"Are you crazy? In and out all the time, you'll wake me up again later!"
"You've got time anyway, why can't you just sit still for a while and wait until I'm properly asleep to go deliver it?"
Niu Ma scolded.
"Boss, you know me. I can't sleep well until I finish my errands."
Liu Zheng chuckled as he spoke.
He understood Niu Ma's good intentions to let him rest a bit, but that habit of his was ingrained.
In real life, unless he was overwhelmed with work, he always had to finish his tasks before eating.
Psychologically, it's a form of OCD, and while Liu Zheng was aware of it, he couldn't be bothered to change.
Life's troubles are too many; this might as well just count as one problem among many.
