In the sunlight, the pond's edge is clear to the bottom, but the deeper it gets towards the middle, the less visible the bottom becomes. The water glows a jade green, with some areas appearing almost black.

Judging by the color of the water in the middle, it must be at least twenty or thirty meters deep.
