The good news is, the D2 Combined Combat Zone will fully cooperate with their operations, and they have mobilized enough firepower. As long as these two King-level Blade Beasts reach the shallow surface, they can launch their offensive.
The bad news is...
Both the Snow Mountain Base and the secret base are built inside the mountains.
The King-level Blade Beasts do not need to appear on the surface to directly attack these two areas.
Moreover, D2 has yet to prepare enough high-performance drilling missiles. The Space Fortress is actively mobilizing resources, but it will require some time to get the supplies in place.
In terms of armaments, D2 is indeed not as well-equipped as D5.
