No longer able to concern themselves with much else, Feng Yueya, clutching Yu Xuan's body, vaulted into the sky, reaching hundreds of meters in height.
They managed to avoid the storm, but now they had no idea where they were.
Beneath their feet, there was no desert; above their heads, there was no blue sky.
Around them was a transparent barrier with ripples of water, trapping them in a sealed space.
"Where is this?" Feng Yueya asked, puzzled.
"If I'm not mistaken, this is an illusion," Yu Xuan replied.
A sudden realization struck her, "That's right, Assistant General Guo mentioned that if we took to the skies, we would enter the illusion. Have we truly entered it?"
Yu Xuan looked solemnly at his surroundings, the golden flame mark on his forehead faintly shimmering.
Feng Yueya knew he was trying to probe whether the illusion could be unraveled.
