Sheng Ning'an suppressed a laugh and said, "It's nothing, I said the seafood feast my grandmother personally made, you probably won't get to eat it. It's okay, I know, saving face is the most important thing for you, so if you don't eat it, you don't eat it."
After all these years of friendship, Sheng Ning'an couldn't possibly not know the girl's weaknesses.
Aside from her love of handsome guys, her biggest hobby is eating.
Sure enough, at the mention of a seafood feast, Tang Dou immediately struggled and said, "Well, your young uncle is so busy, he probably doesn't come home to eat every day, right?"
Sheng Ning'an: "That's not for sure."
Tang Dou hesitated for a moment and said, "I think for my grandmother's good intentions, I can put my pride aside for a while."
Faced with a choice between food and pride, Tang Dou eventually chose the former.
After all, she'd already lost all the face she could, and even if she didn't go to eat, she wouldn't regain it.
