"Kill!" Luo Zheng bellowed, venting all the pent-up fury in his heart. His voice overpowered the surrounding gunfire, reaching the ears of all who were disguised as police officers. Everyone's spirits lifted, and they suddenly surged forward towards their target; their pistols fired in unison. Despite being pistols, they were deadly at close range, especially with the surprise and intensity of the firefight, instantly wounding five approaching rescuers and knocking them to the ground. Some scrambled to disarm the wounded, but many others followed Luo Zheng towards the exit.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Over twenty pistols fired almost simultaneously, targeting the auxiliary forces hiding near the entrance. These forces had not anticipated the police to fight back. Coupled with the lack of cover around, two at the door and five nearby were shot down and quickly subdued by the attackers.
