The night was as black as ink, the cold stars were nowhere to be seen, and dark clouds obscured the moon. The barren mountain ridges were shrouded in darkness, like prehistoric fierce beasts lurking, coldly watching their prey. In contrast, the temple valley was ablaze with flames, six to seven hundred troops holding torches, combined with the roaring flames of the burning temple building. Snow Leopard and others setting the mines didn't even need flashlights to see the ground vaguely. In such an environment, no special skills were needed to set the mines; simply scattering the Button Bombs in the grass sufficed. In the dark, who could see them? If a fight broke out, who would mind their step?
