Chapter 1052 - Chapter 594: Part-Time Psychologist

Even though Jimmy had wrapped up the case on his end, it still needed to be reported to the Federal Prosecutor's Office for evaluation. Depending on the circumstances of the case, they would decide whether further investigation or prosecution was necessary. So, Jimmy could only say that his part was done, but procedurally, the case was still ongoing.

An assistant prosecutor from the Federal Prosecutor's Office came and reviewed all the evidence, also recalling Elliot for questioning. Eventually, due to sufficient evidence, the case was concluded without indicting Jimmy for excessive use of force.

This wasn't the first time. For the cases Jimmy handled, quite a few were set aside by the Federal Prosecutor's Office. Most had casualties, but the majority were handled well, with complete evidence chains. Therefore, Jimmy had never been prosecuted by the Federal Prosecutor's Office before, although it did attract internal FBI OPR investigations.
