Steven provided two addresses, one located in the high desert area and the other in a mountain community far from the city. Jimmy had already checked the map in the afternoon, and he was confident about his travel sequence. As long as the addresses were correct, he wouldn't get lost.
Moving at night not only meant avoiding patrols by the State Police and City Police, but also moving as quickly as possible, which was somewhat conflicting. Moreover, because of the short preparation time, he didn't get his hands on a black-market gun during the day. Hence, Jimmy only had a few small gadgets in his backpack and no other weapons on this outing.
