Ruiz wasn't in a great mood either, having shared and drunk half a dozen beers with Jimmy. With nothing else to do, they started talking about Jimmy's investigation process over the past month.
Although it's been a relatively long time, over a month, the investigation itself wasn't particularly difficult. It's just that Jimmy has a far stronger advantage over others, so even when accidents occur, he can still make up for it directly, and it seems he's had a smooth journey all along.
